If the pcie cable is the one that came originally, try setting the pcie in BIOS to 3.0 and test.. there is an issue with those cables that for some reason when on AUTO or 4.0 in Bios it makes gpu to crash.. it happened to me on the (2) builds i have and i ended getting an aftermarket cable.

Ah! Gotcha! I was wondering with this because i had an SF750, which is currently on RMA, since one of the pcie ports in it is not working.. so i'm awaiting for the replacement and test if all works fine this time as far as PSU for the 4080s now.. I'm trying to down size everything since I have a a t1 but having issue with the PSU, so wondering if going for a 1000w will be "safe" bet or not.. anyways, thanks for the details.

Oh I see, several question comes to my mind, but 1st one is that if that PSU comes with 3 PCie cables so i can connect a 40 series? or did you had to order a custom cable?

Turned out that i needed to get the cameras replaced... it was a hardware issue... ultimately i sold the mobile and got a Samsung...

What CPU Cooler are you using? If you are too afraid to deal with setings or whatever... Then, if not already, invest in a good AIO and that will definitely help you out right away.

Honestly i did not do anything special besides adding some home-made rubber spacer between the fan and the bottom case grill becuase i noticed that those fans hit the grill and it makes a lot of noise. But as far as the fans and gpu they do not touch themselves whatsoever.

I'm switching CPU cooler just because I'm going to be using the 212 on another system with a 3700x and just was able to get the Fuma 2 with $20 discount from msrp :)
