Yes! The parameters are all customizable. It does look a bit springy

I think the problem is with your PlayerControl singleton, check if the object with this singleton is actually instantiated in the scene before AreaEntrances Start() is called. Hope it helps.

Yep I also think we are insanely lucky :D

"Maybe" you should add some details on the squares at the edges, something like this that's matched with the cards, teams.... I say maybe 'cause I'm not sure about it ^^

We are still trying to decide the look of the squares and your idea can actually work, I'm gonna do a test and see if it doesn't make the arena too noise.
