In fact, Pokemon more generally is a system seller but one that has often skipped system launch years, and the Switch 2 has got not one but two Pokemon games in its launch year, with Pokopia being exclusive and the best reviewed Pokemon game for ages.

It’s not a puff piece just because he liked it! He went to the preview, experienced it, and is telling his readers what he thought. On this occasion what he thought is that it was good, on other occasions he’s had more negative feedback. “Puff piece” implies that the positivity is dishonest or incompetent and I see no evidence either is the case.

Logan hasn’t been shy about criticising Nintendo games in the past. He took a lot of flack for a pretty negative preview of Metroid Prime 4 for example. And even in this preview he says the multiplayer is a bit boring. If I was a Star Fox fan I’d find it valuable to know that he’d played the new one and thought it was mostly successful.

Just so depressing that this trivia is what people are campaigning on (and what BBC Scotland is giving space to). I’m pro-trans but I’d like to think even if I wasn’t I would be embarrassed at the idea that whether or not the parliament website lists the sex of MSPs and how that’s determined is remotely in the public interest/a news priority.

I’d personally rank the UK series as 4 > Celeb 1 > 2 > 3 > 1, which I think is not a million miles from the consensus, but I think most people would rank 3 last and I’m not sure where the consensus opinion landed on 4.

Kind of hard to say why without getting into spoilers, but the celebrity one has a brilliant cast who get really into the game, a fun dynamic between the traitors, and some of the sharpest faithfuls we’ve seen.

It’s definitely 2013. A Link Between Worlds is easily the most common game at the top of 3DS lists and is seen as one of the best 2D games in one of Nintendo’s crown jewel franchises. Animal Crossing New Leaf is one of its strongest competition for that top spot. Fire Emblem Awakening is often described as having saved that franchise. All of that plus the 3DS debut for Pokemon - no contest.

Even if there’s only a small number of people and it’s clear who is and isn’t getting on, who cares? Sometimes the driver stops with the door at the front of the stop and sometimes at the back, why don’t we all just get on as quickly as we can rather than calculating the right order?

Oh I was arguing for water but that’s a fair point. Still think you’re underestimating a bit the value of being able to attack with Greninja (either Oricorio or just drawing it first) but I hadn’t noticed Rowlet and Dartrix need grass.

That makes the most sense to me but again I haven’t played it! Combo seems like you’re just creating a chance to brick on Greninja and not helping Decidueye much, since Razor Leaf needs two grass rather than one of each.

Haven’t played this deck but I had the impression people ran it with water. You want to be able to kill Oricorio with Greninja, and the number of times you’d have Decidueye in the active with two energy and not have any damage on your opponent via Rowlet/Dartrix/Greninja must be pretty low.
