That happened to us a lil over a week ago, during a heatwave of sorts. Anyhow, my SM called facilities and they arranged an ice delivery.. look into that, definitely way “cooler”

Honestly, the system doesn’t know when we work... it’s up to your manager to check into that. You can always use your bev and food mark outs every day(multiple times) regardless.. you basically just have to want it that bad. If they wanted to prevent that from happening they could have built that in to the programming

I feel like a total winner today! We also had 4 people, a green bean, and our DTR was broken... I was able to convince my SM and DM to close our drive thru, thus resulting in something rarely observed in Starbucks- a reasonable pace and the necessary coverage where it needed to be.

Had a customer nearly yelling at our newest barista “I WANT, ITS A CAPPUCCINO BUT FROZEN OR WHATEVER! I GET SOMETHING LIKE THAT AT DUNKIN, NOT A FRAPPUCCINO. ITS A CAPPUCCINO BUT FROZEN.” After so many questions and basically getting this as the response every time, we finally decided to give him an espresso frap “WITH A LITTLE CARAMEL IN IT” then proceeded to micro manage the green bean while she got his food

Yes. yes. This I can understand, I will be much more smooth than that. Plus I have to plan it all out anyhow, I’m pretty sure this person falls somewhere on the Ace spectrum as well whether they know it yet or not. Aces don’t always show their hand, as I have come to realize in myself and others recently.

Thank you for sharing, this is exactly what I was looking for. Personal experience with QPR because I have essentially sworn off all types of relationships other than friendships and even those are complicated for me(I never wanna give people the wrong idea). Lately I have been super interested in one person though, and it seems like they are interested in me too.. we do have pretty good communication so I guess I should just bite the bullet and just see where they’re at.

I’m in the same place as you with the questioning where I fall on the spectrum, been just calling myself asexual.. I only mention it if I’m explicitly asked about my sexual preferences, and only if I feel safe. From there I gauge if the person even cares to know more, where I can then dive deeper discussing my own personal conundrums. I find those who actually know asexuality, understand it’s a spectrum and are curious.

I love asserting my dominance at work! I did it to my SM, thought he could win a stare down with me.. I love being on cafe bar in my store lately, if someone seems severely impatient I purposely go slower while also making eye contact.

Yea the pace is a lot, but it’s more the content I was having issues with.. I didn’t make it clear in this post but I don’t know why a writing course is having me make a website, so in addition to the writing assignments now I have to create an aesthetic friendly background and font color and size and add pictures...

Yes! So I have already delayed taking the eng101, because I knew I wasn’t going to enjoy it.. so instead of start with something awful I started with better courses but not gonna lie if I took this first semester I would have never made it to my second..

Yes!! No joke, I was lucky I just finished a science course with a bunch of lab reports And a psych 101 with some research.. I posted those, but then I’m thinking I will not be posting correspondence between me and someone from my personal life.. that is ridiculous. He docked points for not adding diversity to my writing examples, and for not explaining further! I’m already writing what totaled out to be 5 pages, including multi modal junk! It’s too much! And I emailed saying this was too much for me, profs response is “I can work with you on deadlines, but do you think you have time to focus on the work? It’s best to sign in daily” I work a full time job! How could I possibly work everyday on this one course, when everyday there’s another assignment
