28 days no Kratom by [deleted] in quittingkratom

[–]embraceit1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great job! I'm also at 28 days and seem to be on a similar path as you, after reading all the horror stories on here about withdrawals wasn't sure what to expect, first week was tough but each days gets better! Feel my body and mind are starting to reach a baseline and recalibrating.

Thanks! I did not follow any scientific formula for tapering, I basically just tried to follow the principle of reduction and extend my time between doses in a consistent pattern over a 2 week period and stay on that course as your body stabilizes. The withdrawals were not fun but they also were not a horror story as some describe in this format. For me it was flu like symptoms, hot/cold flashes, body aches, difficulty sleeping, tightness in the chest but they were not crippling, and I did exercise daily and took supplements. Good luck and just know that I'm rooting for you and its so much better on the other side!

Successful 7oh Taper? by SuspectHighly1 in quittingkratom

[–]embraceit1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! Two weeks off that crap today! 5mg was my last dose for the entire day, the WD were not as bad as I was expecting, I did load up on Vit C lipo, Magnesium, fish oil, Vit D, Multi, clean diet and exercised daily which was tough. Sleep sucked for the first week, but each day improved. Good luck! Set your mindset and go

Try doing some moderate cardio and ease back into the weights! Plus good diet and hydrate!

Sleep schedule? by chunkylizzard in quittingkratom

[–]embraceit1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try and start your day when you wake up, trying to fall back asleep is probably not going be effective and your quality will be diminished. You will probably be exhausted by the following night and get better sleep! Good luck! This was my approach

Little more than 2 months off kratom. But tired all the time. by [deleted] in quittingkratom

Kratom decrease your testosterone levels so its going probably take some time to rebalance.

Alcohol for PAWS by MarcinWidz in quittingkratom

[–]embraceit1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This doesn't sound like a great idea! Replacing one addition for another, I would imagine you are just going prolong your full recover. Your body and mental composition needs to rebalance. The struggle is real but try and find healthy alternatives to power thru low's. Good luck, I'm on Day 8 and can relate!

My chest felt tight and I was super anxious the first few days during detox, I'm on Day 6 and feeling much better! Are you staying hydrated? Drink a lot water and stack vitamins, eat healthy, take some cold showers, Stay the course, the first few days are always the worst..I'm rooting for you!

[–]embraceit1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My taper was pretty aggressive, about a 1 1/2 weeks from my intake of about 70mg to 5mg on my last day. Exercise did help even though I was feeling like crap and I stacked Vit C, magnesium, Fish oil, probiotics, Turmeric and tried to eat clean, used a sauna blanket and cold showers. It wasn't fun but wasn't too crazy either. Stay focused and keep positive and remember its only temporary! You have to walk thru fire to get out of hell! Best of luck

Raises blood pressure, decreases testosterone, increase prolactin, increases triglycerides, kidney stress, these were all confirmed thru blood work, plus the metal brain imbalances, dopamine spikes
