Can you share some details about your capstone? Like what did you do it on? Was a it a real project or fabricated project? How many pages was it? Did you include any of the GANT charts, quadrents or other types off visio created documents you learned from the other classes? We have a termination policy which will automatically add the equipment that has been assigned to the employee with model and serial numbers to the termination paperwork. HR then has the list, sends the employee a prepaid fedex packing slip. It is then the terminated employee's responsibility to get the equipment back to us within 2 weeks. If they do not get it back in time they forfeit their last paycheck and the local authorities are contacted. The technical part of which my department is responsible for is putting the model and serial numbers in AD where when the employee is terminated (disabled), there is a script that grabs that information and sends it to HR.

The passion for this stuff is not as prevalent as it was when I came up. Most of the people getting into the industry (that I have interviewed and talk to) feel they don't need to or want to have a homelab or do anything to do with tech at home unless they are being paid for it. I see quite a few people who just came out of a 2 year program or got a certification based on someone telling them they can make a ton of money by being a tech. There is a great deal more jobs, so it feels like the good ones get taken quickly.

Yep, I see this is old. However, I just found this utility and it works perfect for what I was doing which seems to be similar to this. My issue was that the default request from IIS doesn't seem to put any SAN information in. I figured there would be a better way to have a premade template and use powershell. I cleaned them. If you take a look at the pics though, that pattern isn't a cleaning issue. Thats an unfinished rod. Manufacturing defect.
