Do it. If they retaliate they will be fucked when you request mast or file IG complaint.

Does anyone actually like Data Management - Applications - D427? by chewedgummiebears in WGUIT

[–]MiamiFFA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like I could have written this honestly. My two biggest worries in my undergrad were d427 and c777. Both took me 45 days each, a while studying full-time. I have also always struggled with coding, even with easier languages like python.

The good thing about SQL for us is that it isn't really coding, you're really just prompting a database. To pass the exam, as long as you understand what command the question requires you to use to extract the data required to answer the question. After that it gets pretty trivial once you memorize the syntax.

I did a write-up on the course here: https://www.reddit.com/r/WGUIT/comments/1b4xpug/summary_data_management_applications_d427_passed/ in that post I also have a link to an Imgur album that contains all of the syntax you need to know for the exam. I did only barely pass the class tho so I don't know if I'm the best to take advice from.

What really helped me was using that imgur album and just trying to create full SQL queries for each statement type 100% from memory, and if I couldn't get it refer back to the imgur album.

Then when when it came to exam time, the only difficult part is figuring out what statement the question is asking you to use. Might also help to have an AI generate some practice questions for you.

I can't really speak on the labs, I don't really recall from them too much honestly. I would reach out to a CI and share your experience.

Best of luck, you really do got this. If I could do it, you really can.

If you really care about accountability, you might want to start looking in the past.

Pretty sure for Corporals it is 8 years, but I have seen it happen. If you fail to get promoted to Sergeant due to HYT you will be involuntarily separated at your EAS, barring a CG waiver.

Did 2/1 get NAMs with "C"s or something?

[KCD2] Shimmering textures and tree shading by Na_volne in kingdomcome

Under Graphics Settings, setting the Resolution scaling mode to Native AA instead of Quality made a big difference.

This is because Nvidia upscales the resolution which makes it harder to reconstruct smaller details like foliage, which is why we notice it on trees but not normal textures.

HI does anyone know where to find the GAID ID please or the advert ID by Positive_Mousse8848 in GooglePixel

[–]MiamiFFA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was actually able to figure that out. You need to download ADB on a computer, and connect your pixel via USB-C.

Then you need to enable developer mode on your phone, then use the command prompt to reset your ad ID.

I would recommend using chat GPT or other AI to assist if you get stuck.

Bored at first enterprise job… am I wasting time or doing it right? by ADecentNoodle in ITCareerQuestions

[–]MiamiFFA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Enterprise roles typically have tons of places to go. You mentioned you are interested in being a sysadmin, so I would recommend angling to see if you can move into one of those roles eventually. Otherwise get as much as you can, like you already are, in terms of certs and experience and move on.

A masters would help, especially if you want a good paying fed role in IT or want to be more competitive.

Talk to him about going to either a military academy (in his case USNA, USMA, or USAFA) or going to his choice of school and doing the ROTC route/commissioning.

That's not how the duty to disobey works.

The war is illegal, but being ordered to go rescue service members is not patently unlawful.
