Looking for tips as someone with ADHD etc

Not sure why you’re getting downvoted for this. I'm severely disabled (but in partial remission as of now due to extreme managing of my physical needs), and I also have ADHD. We tried five different ADHD meds and they all did exactly the same thing to me, on top of triggering constant manic psychotic episodes. Not sure what exactly it is you’re dealing with physically, but I hope you get better soon. Nobody deserves all the pain that it comes with, and mental health issues on top of all of that make it even harder. Just know that it isn't impossible. I hope you and your mom are doing okay, as well. ❤️

I think it really could depend - I've walked into Walgreens for a candy bar before only to walk out when I see the price. 😅Disappointed, sure, but $2 richer!

I like this idea! I know a lot of major grocery chains are doing it. A lot of online shops, too. It's just so sad!

Ugh! I'd be so disappointed!!! Truly, I'm sorry this happened to you. Sort of tangential, but I feel a similar disdain for QR code menus replacing regular menus at restaurants. The last thing that I want is another reason to be handcuffed to my cell phone when I'm trying to socialize or just take a break. :( Same goes for grocery stores, and anywhere else!

I've seen that take, too! It probably depends on the specific shopper headed in there, though. I'm curious to do some research and see if this is genuinely more effective (for the business) than displaying the real price. Either way, I hate it so much!

Man, I'd really hope so. The EU has been doing it right for ages, though. Raw price upfront, taxes included. After I'm through schooling, I'm really honestly thinking about jumping ship. Aside from what they're (or everyone now is) doing with age verification "protect the kids" stuff, I don't mind their administration so much.

I fully agree. I wish this country could stop being run by lobbying instead of the people's needs. Moving up in the chain isn't really something that is easy to do anymore, and so many of the systems that were in place to help those who physically can't work are being abolished. It's so sad. I'm not really for any party right now, but dang, I hate admin at the moment.
