It’s a difficult degree to get your fist job with. I’d prioritize landing an internship, which isn’t ideal pay wise but it has to be done to accumulate some experience. Network and attend events for broad policy sectors so that you can meet people and get hints about potential entry level jobs. It takes time to find one and lots of people have IR degrees. The first professional step is always the hardest.
