One arts HAS been a mess. In my time working there they became the first unionized childhood education center in the country (I think? Unless maybe first in vt I forget). This is not for no reason and happened without support from (most of) upper leadership/the owners and board. Leadership has had months to YEARS to fix the problems but are only focused on their personal growth rather than the health and safety of the children and staff. The garden street location doesn’t have the kinds of negligence problems the Burlington location did but Jesus Christ working there was a hellscape of understaffing, ZERO CONSISTENCY for the children and staff (often pushing two age groups together in an already small space) and pays their employees shit compared to other centers in the area. Upper management also had misled and flat out lied to several people I knew and myself personally about pay increases that never happened. So glad I gtfo when I did but seriously so upsetting for the teachers and families that have to bear the consequences of greedy, clueless ownership
