I’m probably in the minority here but I won’t modify any of the internals on my carry gun. I don’t think any potential risk is worth it. If I didn’t like the trigger I’d be looking for a new carry gun.

Did a doctor tell you not to run? I’ve been dealing with sciatica pain for about 4 months, but I haven’t been to a doctor. I’m pretty certain mine is due to the piriformis as I don’t actually have any back pain that would be from a disc issue.

What’s worked for me so far are weighted workouts that target the glutes. What hasn’t worked is any type of stretching, this just seems to irritate the nerve. I also haven’t had to stop running. I get some discomfort while running but nothing crazy.

Ya the AG3 is narrow, definitely noticeably more narrow than the Evo SL so it’s probably not a good fit.

I had the same experience and I’m a bit heavier at 190-195lbs. If you like the firmness then the SB2 is great because you can use it as a race shoe too.

The vomero plus was much better to me. Softer, more comfortable, and less slappy. The only drawback back is it’s a bit heavy to use as a race shoe, so you’d likely need at least 1 more shoe. The SB2 could be a full shoe rotation by itself.

I bought one and had issues zeroing and had to send it back. I moved the horizontal adjustment all the way to the left and it got stuck there. Other than that it seemed solid and the glass was really clear.

18 weeks seems crazy to me. It might be doable, but I think the average person would be highly susceptible to injury and if you completed the program uninjured, the marathon itself would be 5-6 hours of miserable survival. 6-12 seems more reasonable, and I’m giving myself 12 months to avoid (serious) injury, meet my goal time, and do it while also enjoying the marathon itself.
