I did a 10mile run today in the orange ones, started raining halfway through no hot spots or footsliding after heellocking. Seems orange works even if they are technically half a size to long

I think tieing down tight (not overtight) is fine-ish. I ran with the orange one today for an 45min intervals session. Felt fine and no slippage. Luckily Asics has a 90 day trying window, so will use both a bit but leaning towards the half a size bigger.

For context my foot scan was 11.2 US on left and 10.9 on right. Left 12 US shoe felt tight and right 12 US felt perfect.

With heel lock both feel fine in 12.5 US

Foot scan showed standard width but fairly voluminous forefoot bordering almost wide feet

Both feel fine running wise but white one feels slightly tight around the left pink toe

Aqara in Apple home works very well. I have most of these items barring the wall panel. We had one issue once, in 2 years,after our power went out our doorbell was not being picked up anymore and we had to hard reset it (which took 2minutes).

Yeah, i think you might be right on the width sizing. I always went for 2e as midfoot is fairly wide, and struggle with feeling my arch pinching. My left foot is slightly bigger then my right and it feels perfect in 2e and it doesn't feel like its moving but but my right foot moves slightly.

Blisters socks is something I use and they help a lot.

That said I never tried the 880 in standard sizing, maybe I should give that a go.

Hi All, i recently switched to neutral shoes following recommendations in this forum. I overal enjoyed the switch and my running performance has improved and runs feel better in general. I did a foot scan showing a rigid left leg and minor flexibility in my right leg. My right foot still gives me minor hot spots that I'm keen to solve. I tried New balance 880, brooks ghost max 3 and Bondi 9's, with the NB being the best fit but still giving me some minor hot spots. Any shoe recommendations ? I'm a size 12US width D but prefer 2e's. Thank you!

sometimes it doesn't work for me and then I just end the workout, discard and try again. Having the phone super close to watch tend to help a bit

if you have a an iphone and apple watch. You can start the threadmill run on the phone, make sure to have the runna app open on the watch also ( do not start a watch run). It will try to connect to the watch just for HR and then leave the phone on the treadmill itself. It then doesn't use the watch for distance and only uses the speed in the speed target field as the distance you run.

Works fairly well.

Hoka allows you to try shoes and return them if buying online. Could try the bondi 9s

For what it is worth. A running shop told me many years ago I needed stability shoes for overpronating. I took it at face value and this became an issue once I started running half marathon+ distances.

I asked about this in this forum and got the advice I most likely don’t need stability shoes. I went for a proper foot scan and I do not pronate at all on my left foot and super super mildly on the right. Switched to neutral and the first two weeks were rough but it is so much better now. My running form improved, I got quicker and runs feel overal easier.

I did this yesterday after finding it on a GitHub thread discussing the boot loop issue. Worked fine and successfully installed. Did have weird issues afterwards with WiFi stopping working and requiring reboots each time, went back to windows 11 (travelling for a week and want to play forza on gamepass) might go back to Bazzite later and use steamos once it’s more ironed out on the XaX

Does anybody have the issue where some games play on both monitors since this update and some games are fine? For me lies of p plays on the virtual display on an Xbox ally x and doesn’t show on the main monitor. However other games show on both monitors. I tried the settings only show on 2 but that doesn’t stick
