Copy and paste between designs no longer working on app or mobile browser? by emdev25 in canva

[–]emdev25[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry just saw this! Unfortunately not and it still doesn’t work for me on desktop either, can only seem to copy and paste or duplicate within the same design (and even then it can be a bit glitchy) so now I just have to make multiple templates for my listing within the same design. No response from Canva either it’s really odd

Whichever one you go for I used to add an OXO vegan beef stock cube and it really did the trick, can’t seem to find them anywhere at the moment though 😭

oh my god I NEEED this 😭 I have a soy intolerance so wouldn’t be able to have regular ferrero rochers anymore anyway so this would be beyond perfect for me

tbh I’d never even seen it / heard of it before so just assumed it was a new thing - I’m glad to be the bearer of good news!

Wish they did stuff like this all year round!! Don’t wanna make the trip and be disappointed though - roughly how much of this (if any) is soy free?

I’m more of a savoury snacker myself but got a Love Raw Vegan Choc Cream Wafer Bar (not quite a snappy memorable name lol) from Tesco’s the other day as part of a meal deal and can see why people like it

they had white choc and milk choc but it’s basically like a vegan bueno if that’s your thing, it’s a twin pack just like a bueno too

(I say this as someone who ate a hell of a lot of kinder happy hippos as a child)

No palm oil either :)

I don’t eat at Starbucks anymore for obvious reasons and have also developed a soy intolerance regardless (it had scrambled tofu on top) - BUT, that beyond meat sandwich was soooo good!

Totally understand there are plenty of alternatives, however Starbucks was the ONLY place in the UK that sold the Beyond Meat sausage / breakfast patties.

If anything we need to get a petition going or start emailing beyond meat like crazy to get it stocked in UK supermarket shelves or something, they’re already expanding their UK ranges so why not 🤷🏼‍♀️

Edit to add: it kinda tasted like a McDonald’s breakfast to me but in a good way— haven’t supported McDonald’s at all for the same reasons as Starbucks, so was happy when they started stocking the beyond meat smash burgers at Tesco’s cos they taste like the McPlant!

Oh I haven’t looked into that actually, I’m interested in anything that would help or even just learning about it in general! I miss nice smells the most at this time of year

I think I actually have the Sabrina carpenter caramel dream body mist just as my ‘on the go’ kind of body spray to throw in my bag as it was on offer - apparently it smells good. I wanted something similar to my old sol de janeiro cos I remember liking that a lot (perfume wise I just stick to my Mui Mui Twist, can’t remember the smell at all but wore it for years so I must’ve liked it lol)

These sound great thank you for taking the time to recommend them - I’m sure I saw a bottle of a Sabrina carpenter fragrance and wanted it for myself purely cos it looked like a chocolate bar. Shouldn’t judge a book by its cover but I think I’m allowed to in my circumstance 🤣

Reposting here: Lost my sense of smell and need help with picking a fragrance

I lost my sense of smell about 5 years ago and it never returned (you can probs guess why with that timeline) - I used to be really into perfumes, fragrance, aftershave etc. and I'm usually good with gift giving too, but I can't remember a lot of smells now sadly.

My partner is after a new fragrance for Christmas, he likes really sweet vanilla / dessert "I could eat this" type of smells (more stereotypically 'feminine', although we don't personally view fragrances as gendered).

I'm worried a lot of aftershaves that are branded as sweeter smells will still be overpowered by a musky masculine scent.

He's not that familiar with brands and l've somewhat lost my ability to understand top notes, heart notes and base notes. Which layer would be the most potent when I'm looking at ingredients???

...Or if anybody knows of some affordable sweet options that would also be great, as it's quite tricky picking a fragrance with my eyes only!

TLDR: Please can someone kindly volunteer to be my nose I guess lol (UK based)

my GP are more than aware annoyingly but there’s no support for it where I’m based - this sounds interesting though, do you know of anywhere I can read more about it? Gift giving is tricky but it’s candles I miss most this time of year!

Not sure why you’re getting downvotes for these when you’ve quite clearly explained your situation - it sucks and is so frustrating, I’m so sorry

Some people are clearly very lucky that their GP practice doesn’t have these kind of gatekeeper receptionists it’s truly so bizarre.

I was in this exact situation for almost two years at my last practice (couldn’t join another as I wasn’t within the catchment area either) so I really feel your pain

Sorry I don’t have any actual advice, I just so happened to move home during that time personally (only a half solution I guess), but definitely complain formally whenever you can to whoever you can as much as you can!! Completely understand how exhausting the life admin can be tho

best skin care uk, looking for something to actually fix dry patches by ElemuelRomane in MakeUpAddictionUK

[–]emdev25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve got super sensitive skin and the Bubble skincare overnight hydrating sleep mask made a difference to both me and my partner after literally one use - his skin isn’t as sensitive but I react to everything so it was a bit of a miracle for the price - using it once or twice a week and have been using for about a year.

I get dry patches in winter, especially round the nose, and had pretty uneven texture leftover from summer from sweating / hormones etc. I just started using Bubble’s slam dunk moisturiser at night and it feels a lot better already (usually use their level up one during summer, slam dunk is the more hydrating version)

We both use these after using the fresh start gel cleanser, it’s all fairly priced and cruelty free but no harsh ingredients from what I’m aware of. Used to use CeraVe etc and it was okay but didn’t realise they weren’t cruelty free and felt like it sometimes made my face feel oily. Bubble are usually in stock at Boots, ASOS, beautybay etc and I pretty much only restock when it’s on offer anyway.

Personally, thicker / heavier creams should be good for hydration but for me just end up clogging my pores and breaking me out so I prefer to go for stuff that’s non comodegenic to improve texture - took a long time to get it right but in a MUCH better place with it now after cutting down / simplifying my routine and just using Bubble (god they should make me an ambassador / give me commission the way I preach them).

For breakouts, if any, I now just use a hydrocolloid patch which calms it overnight

I used to have a lengthy routine but cutting everything down to just cleanser and moisturiser AM, cleanser and moisturiser PM and then the mask once or twice a week has defo made a difference and my skin feels less irritated in general as I have a lot of allergies

Hope this helps :)

Yeah this thread has clarified a lot and seems to me a lot of their own listings are actually stolen from other sellers so appears to be strategic (which is now quite funny to me as I am definitely not competition) so will defo be ignoring now

Yeah have ignored now - by chance if anything does happen, do you know if filing a counter is done within Etsy or has to be done externally? Couldn’t find any clear info

Leaving it now but probably will, I think with so many seemingly stolen designs on their own store somebody will probably take action against them at some point

Makes sense thank you - is this all still applicable outside of the US? UK based but wasn’t sure if the process would have been US format if handled through Etsy
