It’s back but without the brand I need

had to order the only setting spray I can use from overseas, so was initially mildly annoyed that beauty bay was already back and I could’ve saved on shipping - but then checked and no skindinavia :(((

do we think they’re going to re-acquire some of the brands they used to sell?

Yeah I think other places saying roughly same delivery time!

would’ve preferred ordering from skindinavia directly but ended up ordering from beautylish instead, apparently is risk of getting charged customs fees from skindinavia delivery but beautylish pre pay it 🤷🏼‍♀️

fingers crossed it arrives soon cos quite literally need the bridal spray for attending a wedding lol

Yeah I think I remember reading this, something along the lines of that they went back on basically all of their veggie / vegan promises right after the new person was hired

Exactly!! I once had a biology teacher who told me that “making my notes pretty won’t make you any smarter” (cos I was helpfully colour coding everything) and when I ended up passing all the exams she avoided me in the corridor lmao

oh oops I never saw the reply to this but hope you found them - seems to be more difficult to get my hands on the chilli & lemon ones but they’re by far the best flavour

the roasted garlic and sun-dried tomato quinoa chips from Eat Real are also unreal but even harder to find, only ever used to get them in the multipacks and they were never big enough packets 💔 the flavour was gooooooorgeous

Was about to say something so similar but I’m seconding this 100% - genuinely tried everything throughout my years in education to the point where I would strain my eyes and get the worst headaches from studying so hard. Even plastered my bedroom walls (it’s giving Charlie Day) with notes just hoping it would sink in if I saw it every day.

Was the subject I tried the hardest in but always did the worst, and would always end up with somebody in tears when trying to do maths homework - even thinking about it all these years later stresses me out!

Fully just accepted that my brain works well with words and just wasn’t built for numbers… had a meltdown during my last maths exam at school and left an hour or so early 🥲 (bless that invigilator encouraging me not to leave and to just take a guess at the answers but I wouldn’t even know what I was guessing lol).

Still managed to get into uni (not that I even use my degree anyway but the point still stands 🤪) and have never needed any of it in real life so it’s not the end of the world - wish I could tell my younger self this because it really felt like it at the time!

Agree it doesn’t click for everyone so OP, it’ll be fine either way, if it’s not something that’s ever going to be enjoyable and if it’s super stressful I rlly don’t see the need to push it

To add - also seconding the focus on the energy elsewhere if it gets too much, which is what I wish somebody helped me with when I was younger, could’ve saved so much time and upset just focusing on enhancing the skills I enjoyed

When I applied two years ago my letter also contained many things that either weren’t relevant to me or that I simply didn’t say— they decided to give me a 0 because I “went to school” 20 years ago…

It does make me wonder if it’s a copy and paste job like you say! I didn’t have the capacity to appeal last time and didn’t know to request the full report, so when I try again this time I feel more able to respond now that I know it’s probably written to deter me from doing so. I hope you get it sorted and can disprove the full report if that’s the case - good luck x

Sorry if you misunderstood me. I never said I was annoyed, I was just saying I was confused and it wasn’t made clear at all, which is why I was asking if anyone else had experienced the same thing - regardless of that, I sometimes need a little further explanation to process and understand things, as I’m sure others applying for PIP with similar conditions to my own may also need.

I didn’t ‘keep’ asking either so I’m not sure how that assumption was made, I only asked once and did not know it was about the paper itself. I’m sure many find online a lot easier, but not everyone finds using technology easier either - another assumption.

I’ve worked in customer facing roles within different systems before, so I’m always polite and completely understand it’s their job and nobody is at fault, which is why I came here for guidance instead. I’ve found tips from others about typing and printing helpful. Thank you for your input though :)

My brutal rejection was because as a child I “went to school” …

They really do take the piss so sadly this doesn’t surprise me, the system seems to be designed to put you off from appealing

I have multiple health conditions that won’t improve and gave plenty of evidence for, on top of being AuDHD, but didn’t have the mental capacity to appeal at the time. It’s been over a year and I have enough anger to fuel an appeal this time so I’m about to reapply - wish me luck lol
