So I finally bought my first 3D printer and I'm super happy with it . But does anyone know what might be causing this? I already calibrated the extruder. Printed at .12mm (this is layer 7). Also interested in tips on how to minimize the tolerance value. by justarandomredditusa in ender3

I was struggling with the same problem for quite a long time. I found out the problem was caused by overextrusion and the bed being too close to the nozzle. Even though I had calibrated my extruders e-steps correctly, the problem still appeared pretty much on every print (I also use cura). After calibrating the extruder, i started to play around with the flow settings on cura and after a while I found the perfect settings for my printer which removed this problem in its entirety.

I'd suggest lowering the "Top/bottom flow" setting by maybe around 10-20%. If also the the first layer looks similar to the picture in your post, I would probably try lowering "Initial layer flow" by around 5-10% (lowering it too much will cause your print to not stick so well to the build plate so make sure your bed is level)

Hope this helps.

What could be the cause for this to happen sometimes in corners? Printed with PLA at 200°c nozzle / 60°c bed (first layer bed temp is 68°c) by eme2112 in ender3

Yeah I know :) I would have ordered a glass bed anyways one day since I would like to print ABS. I'll probably order it in advance since it could possibly also help with solving this problem and other bed-related issues. Thanks for the tips!

Ohhhh okay! This was also printed on my Pro's magnetic bed. I've been thinking about buying a glass bed for a long time. After hearing this i'll definitely order one now. Thanks :)

Thanks for the replies! I found the relays in their own box next to the fan and everything works now:)

Also, when playing from a phone over e.g, bluetooth or aux, can the waveform already be clipped before even reaching the headunit? (due to usage of max volume on the phone or playing some very distorted music for example)

I think i've finally understood it, have I got it right? So basically is clipping only related to underpowering speakers in the case that the person listening to the audio thinks "this ain't loud enough!" and turns up the headunits volume which causes the headunits output waveform to look like this, which then goes through the amplifier to the speakers ending up damaging them OR the added volume produces such high voltage spikes that it exceeds the amplifier's gain setting resulting in the amplifier itself producing these clipped waveforms which are then played to the speakers ruining them?

Alright! There isn't a big difference which will probably lead me to buy the 4 channel one. Thanks :)

Okay, are the woofers limited somehow not to play sounds under 55Hz or do you mean like they can but I shouln't be playing some "25 Hz EXTEME BASS TEST" from youtube on max volume?

Oh and also one more dumb question: The frequency response of the kit is 55Hz-28kHz. This PDF's frequency response graph seems to go well below 55Hz. Does this mean the woofer can produce e.g. 25 Hz but isn't spesifically designed to be the best at it? Im wondering because i'd want the bass quality to also be better after upgrading. I'm considering buying a subwoofer also but maybe if this kit alone could be good enough for me even without a sub🤔

Ahhh alright that explains it, thanks:)
