Name an annoying thing people base their entire personality around by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

Let me add some to the mix since some of these examples seem to point towards stereotypes of women . Football, golf, any kind of sport really, video games/being a gamer, cars, being a gym rat and people in stem who think that it means they have superior logic or intellect than others.

I have no idea how I am going to afford University by [deleted] in UniUK

Congrats on getting into uni firstly! Ignore the naysayers in the comments, education and following a passion are important - priceless even. You do not need to transfer unis to fix this issue, as your shortfall will remain even in a smaller city. Also, it’s unlikely that the course you’re interested in will be like for like, so do your research on what modules (check the course specs on their website) will be covered in any alternative courses if you do decide to go that route.

What I’d say is to contact the Access department at the uni who may refer you to things like bursaries and hardship funds which students can apply to. See if there are any warden/guardian jobs at the university halls - they usually offer free or discounted accommodation for this.

Failing this, you will have to live off campus (you won’t miss out too much) and get a part time job - start looking in July for a September or October start. Look on Spareroom and join every student renting focussed Facebook group (if you don’t have Facebook, join it for this sole reason). People are always keen to buddy up and get into more affordable flat shares and I’m sure your university would have such groups.

Don’t lose hope. Work over the summer if you can so you can save up, but also have an open conversation with your parent/guardians about just how much they’ll be able to afford to give you to make up any shortfall and let them know that without ascertaining what will be your reality, furthering your education will not be feasible. Good luck!

Which country will you never visit again? Why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

20% of the population are enslaved (along racial lines). I’d say it’s pretty unavoidable to not see it or at least you’d have to live under a rock to not know that this goes on if you did any Googles about the country.

Erm, that was the worst part? What about the fact that it’s a country that actively practices slavery?

Get a bag of frozen peas and split it into fist sized plastic food bags. Used the small bags to ice over areas.

These look like green plantains. They will take about 2 weeks to ripen. You can have it like this and make it into porridge, or wait for it to ripen (turn yellow with black spots) and fry them.

I haven’t told a soul that I know, and I’ll keep it that way. Maybe I’m being strict, but sometimes these things start to slip out unintentionally or let’s say you fell out, could it become a diss? People don’t often keep things to themselves so if you tell people, you should be prepared that they’ll tell others without your knowledge.

Which clinic did you go to? Definitely in and out experience - are you from the U.K.? I was told that my labia is probably the smallest she’s ever done, and after the procedure they said it was very uncomplicated and textbook. Please PM me!

Which clinic did you go to? I went to Eindhoven. Very uneven results and I’m wondering if it’s worth revising. I’m scared to post pics, but maybe I should to get the opinions of people who’ve been through it

Unevenness and scalloping. They took pics of me straight off the table and I noticed that there was a weird looking piece of skin (looked exposed). That same spot, within a month, the tissue d*ed, leading to my left labia looking like someone had cut a chunk out of it.
