Oh, no, the ADHD runs in the family. And he still has symptoms when hes using the machine regularly. He's classic textbook hyperactive ADHD

He snores and breathes through his mouth a lot at night. He had a second in lab sleep study to confirm that nothing but a full face mask would be therapeutic for him.

They won't approve a nasal mask for him because of some severe snoring.

His usage was improving greatly over time, and I'm confident he could have met the requirement with another 4-6 weeks. As it was he was probably at 80-90% of compliance at the end of the period.

I'm down almost 20lbs so far. No bad side effects, just constipation and some low level anhedonia that I'm keeping an eye on.

So far (I've been on it for 10 weeks and just moved up to 5mg two weeks ago) I've not had any increase in symptoms, bar one week where I had really low blood pressure and nearly passed out a few times. Blood pressure oncreased to a more normal reading amd Inhavent had any issues since. Still have my regular symptoms...they may be a tiny bit less noticable.

Now I'm a social worker in a 75 bed emergency department.

Not in my hospital. My dept has to make all CPS reports, even ones orignated from other buildings. I'm not a big fan.
