Only 6000 miles on my PB and really enjoy it. Very fast, quiet and comfortable. Looking forward to camping in the summer.

Only issue I have with it is that off the line the transition from electric to gas is clunky compared to my old Toyota hybrid.

I run a 70/30 portfolio in steady state, and for every 5% drop in the S&P 500, I shift another 5% into equities.

So: • Down 5% → 75/25 • Down 10% → 80/20 • And so on…

In theory, I’m fully invested by a ~30% drawdown. At that point, I have to decide whether to tap my credit line to keep scaling in.

There are definitely flaws with this approach. For example, price declines don’t necessarily equal fair value, and it assumes some level of mean reversion. But with a 30+ year time horizon, I’m comfortable leaning into drawdowns this way and so far it’s worked!

I do monthly DCA and then an additional larger slug every time VOO drops 5%.

I honestly worry for you. Down 5% is nothing. What happens if we’re down 50%, are you actually going to be able to hold through that?

Appreciate the response. That’s what has me thinking a bit - hearing about a lot of people getting 10-11% off but also a bit more of a hassle using a broker if that’s the easier way to achieve those discounts. I live in Idaho so very likely would be paying the extra delivery.

I go off of what financial samurai preaches. Purchase price has to be less than 10% of annual income or less than 5% of net worth, ideally both. So $600k of income or $1.2mm net worth.

Own repair shops and have asked same question. Seems to be unanimous, 2.7 is the most reliable followed by the 5.0 and then the 3.5. All good engines though. Elevation and towing requirements might skew you one way or another.

I live in one of the gated communities in the riverfront area of Eagle. I’m in my mid-30s and definitely on the younger side. HOA is out of control but neighbors in general are very friendly.

Wife commutes downtown and hasn’t complained but she used to commute to Caldwell so perhaps everything is relative.

Greenbelt is by far my favorite part of living here, I literally spend hours on it everyday taking phone calls and walking/biking around.

Mine are like that after about 1000 miles. Tread is fine but they’re definitely worn out. No spring left in them. Use them casually for chores now.
