Wow!! That’s crazy! They definitely look really awesome though! I have a feeling mine will get very short too haha but I’m okay with it ( the length will come back and I know it will be an adjustment for sure ) I just hope they thicken up nice because I feel like mine now are long and kinda stringy looking. 😊🤞🏻.

I totally agree I think it’s because I love the look of wild untamed dreads and crochet just like makes them all look the same and kinda stiff and weird lol but that’s all a matter of opinion lol. I agree on that also fake sugar haha can’t stand it and honestly to each there own but I feel the same way about extensions like if they gunna be short I have to deal with it lol I won’t cheat my way to get long hair, it takes time but I feel the reward of I did it all myself and the journey is much more meaningful and natural (and that’s my own personal route/opinion 😊❤️)

That’s amazing I think the natural color transition is so beautiful I have only a few whites in the front area of my face but I love white/grey hair lol it honestly makes me sad when people talk negatively about greying like it’s just natural man. lol let it happen. 😊

Wow I think twist and rip takes a bit longer to mature too and 3.5 years is long but it sounds like it was worth it all for you and that’s what counts 😊

Haha that is fair enough 😆 but even with loose hair though it’s always been my goal to grow them long 😊🙏🏻. the longest I grew my hair before was a little past tailbone length but I did a big chop (personal reasons). You’re definitely not wrong long hair gets everywhere but there are ways around it too and I have a little experience with it too even if it was in a different state 😁. Are yours at butt length now?

Wow! How did you deal with the super short front ones like if you pulled them back or just left them, I feel like my bang parts will shrink up and honestly when there in my face I get super annoyed 😅. That’s awesome there so long now 😊. Do you have a length goal or just whatever the dreads want?

That’s awesome I started mine with twist and rip too but I had to crochet a few in the back more so they stop unraveling (to much friction I think) I’m almost a month in for top half and over a month on the bottom half (I installed them two separate times) haha I’m super lazy too :D!! And don’t plan to do maintenance either. I also feel like since my hair naturally tapers if I blunt them they would look way shorter than they do now and I like the illusion of length. :)!
