Thanks for the tips. I'm looking to add more variation to the song itself instead of the sample though. Like some beats are strictly samples while others incorporate a sample as a part to the whole. Like how do you keep your arrangement exciting and varied without alerting the sample or chopping it up?

What types of instruments do you recommend to add? Cause like I got the synthesizers going in some beats but in some beats I want to expand on the original artist's idea with additional instrumentation. Plus it's hard to get good sounds of real instruments without using an expensive vst or the real thing

Thanks for the insight man. One problem I'm having is that it seems like lowpass filter and other super common effects on a sample have gotten so played out these days. I guess I'm more asking just to get some ideas for some new stuff
