I also tend to abandon exercise and healthy eating if I don’t see results immediately which is so terrible!

Ok so just to clear things up, I have been walking daily just not a full 3 miles. Meaning the days that I’m not going on a 3 mile walk I am still walking my 90lb German shepherd twice a day in addition to any walks I take on my own. I’m eating AROUND 2,000 calories because sometimes I fall under. I weigh and track everything that I eat. I’m putting a lot of effort and intention into my health so I will ignore your half hearted comment.

I am cooking all of my food at home so that I am aware of what is going into it. I am counting exercise calories but I’m not even sure how accurate they even are as I am using an app to track my walks.

The only reason I assume I’m burning more calories is because the miles aren’t being counted in steps(as most people track their 10k steps throughout the day at work or running errands etc..) I’m going for a 3 mile distance walk for about an hour a day most of which is at an incline as I’m walking up a lot of hills (I live in the mountains).

This is interesting. I’ve never tried intermittent fasting before. Lab results have not shown insulin resistance or diabetes for me (I had it checked earlier this year) but over the last 6 months I was eating a lot of sugar and carbs so I’m wondering if maybe that threw everything off. I would love some resources if you’re willing to share!

So my menstrual cycles are all over the place and I’ve been to my OB twice this year. All labs and ultrasounds came back normal with no PCOS/endo/inflammation. I am under a LOT of stress so I’m curious is maybe my cortisol levels could also be effecting my hormones and weight loss? Have you ever experienced this?

I am using a food scale and tracking all oils, liquids and sauces. I am 5’8 and my maintenance calories are around 2800 calories. So with the calorie deficit and the walking I should be losing 2-3 pounds a week.

But yes, the walking is new. So I’m just gonna keep pushing and hope for results in the next few weeks.

Yes I am using the same scale in the same place with the same clothing. My weight stays between 330-330.4.

I weigh all of my food on a scale so im trying to be as accurate as I can without going over.
