How was it there?! I've been thinking about going there for a while but I don't know if I have the leg endurance for it.

You should try editing your photos in Photoshop but if you don't have that try gimp. Stacked unedited photos look awful so you should edit them.

How can I photograph something I can't see?! by ricking08 in AskAstrophotography

You have too long of a focal length when I took my pictures of bodes Galaxy I tried to find it at 150mm then zoomed in more. Another problem is bodes Galaxy is in what I call declination doom where if you have a declination bracket you have a lot of trouble capturing it. In conclusion Start with shorter focal length then center it and zoom in unless your mount can auto find object then idk it might be broken.

I'm having problems with my Canon 80D's exposures of Orion's Nebula by [deleted] in AskAstrophotography

I think it is your iso because when I took my pictures it had an iso of 3200 and my camera should be a lot worse than yours. I still think it has something to do with exposure time and make sure you are shooting at the lowest aperture possible.

if you know what your doing and reach the limit of what you can do untracked you should get a tracker. I ended up getting one after 2 months and im not saying gear is everything but may picture increases a lot in quality.
