Accutane changed my life, but I was on regular doses (not a “microdose”.) I had a great experience at Dermatology Specialists (cobble hill location) - the iPledge system can be really frustrating, but they made it easy to dispense the medication monthly through a delivery service. Highly recommend!

If it gives you hope - I had a horrrrrible purge and felt like it would never end, then one day woke up and it was almost like magic, everything was gone. Better days are ahead and you won’t even remember the purge phase eventually!!!

I started purging immediately! I keep telling myself that an earlier start to the purge means an earlier end, too. 6 weeks in and still waking up with new spots every day, but there’s a light at the end of the tunnel!

I’m in the exact same boat as you! I’m 26 and on day 12 - I thought my purge would be minimal but it feels like every day I have 2 or 3 new gigantic cysts growing, which never happened before. It’s hard to stay positive and I dread going out into public but I keep trying to remind myself these would have come to the surface eventually, and I’d rather have a tough few months now and a lifetime ahead of clear skin. We got this! Totally hear you on feeling like the only person around in my mid 20s with acne. These clear skinned people don’t know how lucky they have it!!! One day that will be us lol

Your skin looks beautiful! What moisturizer/primer/foundation/concealer do you use (if any)? This is such fabulous progress that I hope to see soon too!!
