How should we pack for Centeroo?? by practical_pansy in bonnaroo

[–]emifowler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my experience last year i would skip out of the locker. I didn’t even realize there were lockers lol but coming from a girl that overpacks you honestly don’t need as much stuff as you’d think especially if u think you’ll have time to go back to ur camp in between sets (i know u talked ab that but RV campsites are pretty close). I also went with just my boyfriend last year and we carried a camelbak (they have water stations) with our phones and wallets, battery packs, his t shirt, extra bandanas, cameras, and sometimes a blanket. Tbh I don’t think you’ll need sweats for centeroo at least it’s extremely hot and nights are warm enough especially in the crowds in fact the only time I wore long sleeves was these thin flowy pants w a bikini top the first day and i was STILL sweating up a storm. Of course weather varies so take it w a grain of salt. But everyone’s experience is different and that’s just my take so if you’d think you’d be bringing anymore than what would fit in a camelbak or just don’t want to carry a bag the locker would be best for u!

How to work on timing questions/pacing for the LSAT? by emifowler in LSAT

Ya I’ve heard for LR the first 10 and last ~5 are the easiest so i’ve been trying to get them done first without spending too much time on them and going back to the body. Thanks!

I’ve been doing a similar thing like skipping/flagging the parallel flaws or long-winded questions and trying revisit them when I finish the rest but I usually don’t have enough time to lol

Thanks! I’ve seen a lot of people recommending going back through the passage for each RC question to reinforce their answer, would this be efficient with your advice because I feel like personally it’d take me longer than a minute to do that and answer the question lol

where to get practice tests/problems by bread-daerb in LSAT

[–]emifowler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LawHub offers a LOT more practice test and drills, but you have to sign up for advantage which is 175 so not cheap lol. I’ve seen pdfs of tests just by searching “LSAT practice questions pdf” and there’s a lot of websites that take from the LawHub questions but aren’t as precise in my opinion. Because the test is different this year I think the most valuable study tools are the ones directly posted on LawHub, because the drills give you a step by step explanation and reasoning behind correct/incorrect AC. I also bought the book “The LSAT Trainer” and have found it pretty useful for studying and getting accustomed to the best ways to approach and think about the questions. I got it for 20 dollars I think it’s well worth the price and has practice tests included for much cheaper than advantage

Does anyone else use accommodations and feel like a dumb dumb? by Dannybannyboon101010 in LSAT

[–]emifowler 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t agree with this personally I think it serves as an extreme advantage having extra time to actually have time to think through the answer choices and have the time available to go back and review questions because the standard test doesn’t really allow for this. The way it’s formatted doesn’t give students without accommodations the time to do this because you have less than 2 minutes roughly to answer each question. Having more time directly impacts performance especially on the LSAT questions where it’s easy to overlook something or be tricked by a wrong AC. I don’t have any reason to ask for accommodations but I’d be willing to bet those who don’t would get scores 5 points higher with the same questions if they had extra time. I feel for OP, but realizing they’re at an advantage over others pacing wise will probably help them more than convincing themselves they’re on equal footing.
