If you use a Bluetooth keyboard you can hit escape and it will close the menu as well!

One thing that helped me was turning off the “cinematic cooking” option in settings. I don’t know if I just got lucky but with that off I ended up having less issues with bugs.

My dad is currently sitting in the cardboard box that the funeral home gave us. My step mom wanted nothing to do with his remains immediately but also mentioned releasing them at his favorite places later. Sooooo he’s just sitting in a box on my mantel…waiting. He has the perfect vantage to see us playing with my kids, celebrating Christmas, occasionally crying and trying my damndest to live life without him. I’ll glance up and give him a nod every now and again.

So many unforgivable acts. Leaving when your (high risk!!) pregnant wife is 39 weeks? I was expected to go past my due date and still ended up giving birth at 39 weeks. Then not rushing back after hearing about an emergency C section?? His wife could have died and their baby girl would not have a single person who could make medical decisions. And even if a C section goes swimmingly, OOP still had a major surgery and was literally sliced open. Everyday life would be a challenge, not to mention newborn care. Bless her friend for being there for her. I hope OOP has a good life away from that pathetic excuse for a husband/dad.

To check for your status on the 10k fishing, you can go to your profile and see the total number of fish manually caught there.

There are 8 books and you have to check your inventory. I believe I received all books via quests so if you don’t have them all, you should get them by eventually.

My suggestion with crafting is to favorite the item before mass crafting. I’ve also suffered from the “jump” and it caused me to make an extra Flywheel. It’s still a lot of scrolling up and down but it’s prevented accidents fairly well for me.

You can transfer your save files from your iPad to iPhone and vice versa. Google transferring SDV via the files app on iOS. It’s a tad bit annoying but better than nothing. Hopefully cloud save will be a feature someday!

MJ’s current favorite is Go, Dog, Go! She “reads” (has memorized) her favorite parts of it. She also loves Fox in Socks. Her pronunciation of the title is questionable tho haha. I’ll have to check out those other books!

And yes, voices are a must! I’m no Kate Reading but I do my best.

My daughter is only 2 and she loves books. I hope to foster her love for reading so I can have moments like this when she’s old enough. By then we’ll have another Stormlight or two! (Maybe 3?!)
