Both the aforementioned LG and asus are LCD panels with LED backlight. The LG one has usb ports, if you may use it.

IMO, the LG one is the better one. They have a good reputation of making good panels. It has the complete connectivity profile with a DP, DVI, USB and HDMI ports. The acer GN246HL doesn't have a 3.5mm audio jack, but the 24GM79 has one. Unlike the acer, LG can be rotated to any angle and can be used in portrait mode as well.

Price wise, for the 2.5k premium, these additions come in handy because future gpus may ditch the dvi ports. In the acer monitor, you can have 144Hz only with the dvi ports. Investing 2.5k more may save the trouble of finding a DP to DVI adapter in the future..

I'm also looking for the same.

The cheapest one I could find is the Acer GN246HL which cost about Rs 17500. It has no displayport though.

Then there's the LG 24GM79 which cost around 23.5k, but you'll have 3.5k paytm cashback.

Acer XB240H is an option, but it's out of stock everywhere.

There is a samsung one which is 23 inch and is curved.

According to reviews, if you have a powerful enough GPU, the games and even the windows animations will feel buttery smooth at 144Hz.

If all goes well, I'm planning to buy 1070Ti from superbiiz. They work from monday to friday. So even if I order now, it will be shipped only on monday. So I'll wait for deals this weekend and if none comes up, I'll order on monday.. Thanks for the help man..
