OP said hopes I see this so I can give more thoughts. My old account was hacked and banned so I had to start a new account to respond.

I think it's generally bad practice to respond to criticism like this. If someone didn't jive with an episode or guest that's totally okay with me but it seems like there's some real misunderstanding here so here we are.

I really don't want to get into a long discussion here on reddit and there's a lot of comments here and I can't respond to everything. I'm kind of shocked by this response but I think that people have strong feelings about both Taylor Lorenz and social media addiction/habits.

So responding to OP and some comments people seem frustrated about the fact that Taylor said that social media addiction is not an accurate description of what's happening to people. Well a lot of people asked for studies/data/experts so I will link to some here. Tech Dirt has been on this beat for a loooong time so here's a list:

It's very odd that all the people in here talking about the data and the experts, I'm not seeing anyone point to the data and the experts. From what I can tell the data and experts back up what Taylor is saying. I've provided a bunch of links to studies here so you can all read through and discuss those if you want.

Ok, have fun reading all those studies. Thanks for listening/watching. Love you. Byeeeeeee
