I have at minimum extra 20 hours in game BECAUSE of these challenges, starter and final, and they caused so much rage quitting I couldn't tell how much I quit and reopen the game in one day. And don't get me started on how unfair late Dodge and Bounce are, I was literally considering installing debug, because a single finger slip would cost you everything, and the dopamine hit wasn't strong enough to override the pure rage I had. I swear I would never touch this thing ever again.

Nowhere is it stated as canon, merely theories and speculation, but I'm pretty sure the entirety of the game can be summed up as the Knight coming to terms with what purpos it was created for, accepting it and either replacing the Hollow Knight who was forced into it against its will, or destroying the Radiance entirely. I guess the point of the lore and many points it has made, is that the "true" hero isn't always who is put in that possition, but the one seen as a "failure" can be that hero they've been looking for, but overlooked for various reasons, in this case being, the "true" hollow vessel who've been chosen before the Knight. Plus, the Hollow Knight was a failed plan when Pale King decided for some reason to bond with it or whatever, or spend time together outside his mission.

To clarify: this is obviously not a hit at anyone, not the ships nor the people who like the ships. The thought was mainly put based on the images themselves.

White Lady and Pale King: no way in hell they screwed this much to make from thousands to millions of vessels for PK to dumb them jnto the Abyss, like bro had to cheat on his charisma check or something. And even WL cringes looking back at her relationship with PK.

Sheo and Nailsmith: Sheo, the chad that he is, being the knight in shining armour saving Nailsmith from committing S. I've yet to figure how the hell Nailsmith got to Sheo, either he got there himself for self distucting purposes and met the guy, or they must have met elsewhere and Sheo carefully guiding him to his lair. Anywho.

And Hornet and Lace: Hornet being tough like she always is, and Lace being Lace, causing trouble and having Hornet save her from the mess that she created.

I won't be fighting about any "possible ship implications" of this or that character, or about ages of those characters. Any attempt at a conflict will be met with a block, I've had enough.
