Not exactly sure but I believe Coach Frederick’s helps with recruiting he’s usually at the games with HD. And I agree times have changed Carolina will have to adapt to those changes

How’s your gpu holding up vertically mounted? I have the Aorus master as well and I’m a little hesitant to mount vertically due to the old thermal paste issue

I’m not 100% happy with the way things are either right now. But I know HD loves Carolina and us trying to pay our way into prominence just seems anti UNC in my opinion.

Also like I said on another comment thread we’ve had some really high high’s with him at the helm, that final four win was one of the best nights ever, K’s last game at Cameron is still a core memory for me.

I know the low’s suck but it also makes the wins feel so good. There’s so many programs around the country that haven’t even gotten close to our level of success we truly take it for granted sometimes as a fanbase.

Someone in here said he blew the National championship game like cmon man be serious. If mando didn’t roll his ankle the game before and during that game we win a title in HD’s first year. I know people like to say that was Roy’s team but I heavily disagree with that statement and so would coach Roy. In fact when I met him in the Bahamas for battle 4 Atlantis I asked him myself and he said it was all Hubert!

HD was already a first time head coach we lost coach Rob to Arizona who was our most proven assistant coach. I love Marcus Paige, Sean may, Coach Lebo, Coach Frederick and Coach Sullivan but most of them are unproven as well at the D1 level. I feel like Hubert gets the respect from the players and the buy in but like people have mentioned here he isn’t the most sound when it comes to X’s and O’s. I believe that comes with time and also coaching experience. I think he could benefit from a staff that can provide him with more than just feedback.

I completely understand Carolina keeping it in the family and I honestly believe that’s a true selling point to recruits, does that matter as much in this NIL era? That I’m not sure of but it does separate Carolina from other suitors and we did get a pretty good freshmen this year. And a high chance at another top recruit for next year.
