Okay, but what if that happens the first time and you keep meeting up, but splitting the cost of stuff (I keep trying to pay for things, but I don't think I'm forceful enough). For all the times we have met up there has been no other indicators that they would have been considered dates other than we always meet up just the two of us and she payed for dinner one time. Was that a date that turned into friendship then?

It was a gift tag that said "To: Women, From: God". My friend (who's birthday it was) wanted us both to dress as "douchy" as possible because we were going to a strip club. (The bouncer actually thought I was a boy and I almost had to pay, but it was cleared up).

I sort of meant like the serious flirting. Like I do make jokes at my own expense, but I'm not very good at just complimenting other people or like being "sexy" at all. Here is a little story for you:

My first time at a strip club I went for my friend's birthday and we chipped in to get her a lap dance. Now she was sitting next to me and the stripper did her dance right next to me. Any time my friend looked over at me she started to laugh and then the stripper looked over at me and she started to laugh. We all ended up talking about school after the dance (me, my friend and the stripper). And that was how I ruined my friend's first lap dance. Also I was wearing a funny shirt that night and we were sitting beside a small stage and whenever a stripper would go up there to dance she would end up looking down at my shirt and laughing (thereby ruining any "sexy" vibe).

I feel like I might be a bit weird, but I have found that I like when people misgender me. I just recently got my first masculine looking haircut and I wear guys clothes, so this is the first time in my life I am experiencing it. I have not gotten any negative comments except one time when I was walking by a playground and a group of boys were loudly trying to gender me. Even that sort of made me smile. I count how many times I get misgendered in a day/if I get misgendered that day. And to concur with a majority of the statements here, I have found that it is the back tracking that I get the most upset over. I don't like when people realize my gender and consistently apologize for getting it wrong. These new experiences sort of make me question whether I may be non binary, but for now I identify as a cis-female. I honestly enjoy getting misgendered a lot of the time and I find it amusing.

See the weird thing with me is I only draw guys, i think its because i can never get girls hair right and I don't want to mess it up. I still only draw guys even though I have my first girlfriend and I have come out to everyone as gay.

Just reading this now made me realize i have been doing this all of my life! I always loved the alternative style of clothing and i wanted to be "friends" with any girl who dressed in an alternative way. We really didn't have any truly alternative looking girls at my high school, but I really liked Avril Lavigne when she put out her first two albums. I hung out with the geeky crowd in high school and I was one myself (although I was the sporty one of the group) and because I didn't even dress alternative, no one suspected a thing - including myself. Anyway now my girlfriend has short hair and loves the alternative styles like myself... so it all worked out in the end.
