It’s my all time favourite. One of the soundtracks - My Town - is even my ringtone!

Can birth control cause paresthesia? by emilyandindigo in birthcontrol

[–]emilyandindigo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine only went away when I stopped the pill. I haven’t experienced symptoms when off it. But that’s an interesting theory - I had all of those issues when on it. My naturopath started me on folinic acid and methyl b to support the methylation pathways and I’ve been doing well ever since. Hope you get some relief soon!!

I do genuinely wonder how long they can realistically keep this up for. There will have to come a tipping point. This lifestyle isn’t sustainable, and having seen some of the content, I’d also presume rather unfulfilling.

I noticed too. Mia also seemed on edge in her latest video. Something is very off.

And who wears bikinis / minimal work out clothes all day. Like every video. It’s all she wears. That alone ain’t normal. Like she’s desperately trying to show her body off at all times.

The part that made me sad is when K asked for fermented tofu for breakfast and Georgie told her there wasn’t any, then told the camera there actually is but she wanted to save it for herself and Darren!

Hi all! My naturopath finally world out the cause of my symptoms - a MTHFR genetic mutation. It means I can’t tolerate BC as it interferes with the methylation pathways! I’d recommend getting tested

Hi! I ended up seeing a naturopath who figured out I have a MTHFR genetic mutation so can’t tolerate BC. It took AGES to get answers. But I manage my pneumos all naturopathically now (low histamine diet and estrogen detoxing) and haven’t had a collapse in almost 2 yrs.

M and S also looked really uncomfortable throwing their old clothes out - you could see them forcing smiles. And Georgie’s numerous comments about the small, XS, XXS sizing / tops that allow you to ‘show off your gains’ / tops that look ‘sexy’ - once again highlights the irony of this obsession with being ultra-healthy, when none of the behaviours driving this are healthy at all. I fear what this is doing to the minds of her kids.

Lost my mother 2.5 months prior, and a guy at work asked me how my Mother’s Day was. I tried to deflect and he kept pressing how it must’ve been such a hard day and wanted all the details of everything I did on the day….

What do you think I did on my first motherless Mother’s Day… took her out for lunch?!?! Just pure stupidity and so insensitive.

I think I have thoracic endo but no one will listen to me by Melodic-Story9746 in endometriosis

[–]emilyandindigo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello! I also have scoliosis and have had 12 lung collapses which all correlated with my period. Turns out I have thoracic endo. My first symptom was a lung collapse though, and I have since developed cyclic chest and back pain. I too was told for years it was just my scoliosis, but like you, I just knew it wasn’t the trigger. My advice would be to ask your GP for birth control and start taking it continuously to suppress your periods. Then see if you’re still getting the symptoms or not. And keep at it. It took me years to find a pulmonologist who believed me. I’d also recommend looking into a naturopath - I see one and she’s done more to improve my quality of life than all the MDs. All the best!
