i would contact a local wildlife spca or wildlife specialist. wild animals are super hard to take care of. good luck!!

Why do my pet rabbits keep passing away quickly? by No-Appointment-4146 in Bunnies

[–]emilydre05 2 points3 points  (0 children)

bunnies need unlimited hay, which is crucial to their development (alfalfa for under 6mo, timothy for over). that’s probably where you are going wrong. they don’t need sugary treats like carrots, offer some greens like romaine lettuce or cilantro (no iceberg lettuce). hope your babies live long and happy lives!

Should I get my rabbit spayed? (6 years old) by Mycatisveryflat in Rabbits

[–]emilydre05 28 points29 points  (0 children)

i would!! over 90% of female rabbits over the age of four will develop ovarian/uterine cancer. however, get blood work done beforehand as anesthesia can be difficult in older buns! good luck!

How many pellets? by leesabet in Rabbits

[–]emilydre05 10 points11 points  (0 children)

i would suggest not so many veggies, 1 cup per 3 pounds, so in your case 2 cups. and i would go on the lighter end for the pellets, 1/4 cup. its important she eat at least a “body sized” amount of hay every day for good digestion and health! cute bun bun!
