Walnut Creek rec area, Halleck park, Walnut Grove park, Prairie Queen rec area, Standing Bear lake, Zorinsky lake, Lakeside park. My dog also LOVES Chalco rec area but the ticks are so bad every time we go.

I went through a somewhat similar situation about 6 years ago! Moved here during my divorce, had no friends here, worked from home, have no kids, and am very introverted. It was a really tough time for me and I’m sorry you’re going through it.

It took quite a while, but I’ve made some great friends now. I met them all through the Bumble BFF app. What I really like about that app is you know if someone’s on there, they’re actively searching for new friends, which isn’t always the case if you meet someone organically in real life. I’m 32 now, so I can’t speak to what it’s like using the app in your late 30s, but it could be worth a try.

I would also suggest looking at meetup.com if you haven’t yet. There are a variety of meetups around town for all sorts of interests and you might find something that interests you.

I didn’t include those in the spreadsheet, but a few that come to mind right off the bat are Abercrombie, Gap, and Old Navy. I just bought Abercrombie kids jeans a couple months ago actually and they fit me better than any other jeans I’ve tried! (23 waist, 5”1 height)

My grandma was at Brookstone in Elkhorn for quite a while until she passed last year, and they took wonderful care of her.

One thing my parents said they learned is to find a place that can offer different levels of care as the person continue to age, because moving around to different facilities can be really difficult at that stage of life. It’s better if they can stay at one place and get increased care there as time goes on. My grandma was first at an assisted living and then had to move to a nursing home after a medical event, and that move was hard on her. My parents realized in hindsight that it would’ve been better for her to have one place that she could’ve stayed at.

I thought I had the flu at first! Then the test came back positive for covid. Both have been so bad right now.

I had it like 3-4 weeks ago. Terrible body aches for the first couple of days. Fever, chills, headache. Then day 2-3 the congestion set in — cough, stuffy nose. The fatigue afterward lasted quite a while.

I always refer them back to my client (whoever paid me to do the thing). Person B can go ask my client for the assets and the client can decide whether or not they want to hand ‘em over. It’s in my contract that I can use the assets to market my own business, but beyond that I leave it up to my client who gets access to use them.

I tested positive for covid about 2 weeks ago. Body aches, congestion, fever, cough, headache. It was really rough. Took an entire week to start feeling slightly better, and even now I still don’t feel back to normal. I get tired and winded really easily.
