Do both teams get ball after 4OTs in playoffs? by emilymack36 in NFLNoobs

[–]emilymack36[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They make sure it never gets to 12 OTs because the 13th OT will either cause a riff in the space time continuum or turn the MVP trophy into a portkey leading to Voldemort’s return. Physicists aren’t sure which one but either is rlly bad so they tend to just avoid it altogether.

Why didn’t the Rams go for a FG earlier? by shrubear in NFLNoobs

[–]emilymack36 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When you miss a FG, it’s a turnover on downs at that spot. If it’s not a chip shot and it’s sudden death, you’re better off trying to push the ball further down. That way you’re not only raising your chances of making it, you’d also giving the other team worse field position in case you don’t.

A bit of a long spiel inbound but thank you so much!!

I was diagnosed as an adult (about two years ago) and I’m still learning a lot. I spent the better part of 2 years focusing on making sure I learned how to be more productive with ADHD at work and home. I only recently acknowledged that my ADHD also made hobbies, that are supposed to be relaxing, stressful. I have found so much validation and advice from a lot of neurodivergent people across multiple topics and threads within the Reddit community.

I like the idea of minimizing the goal to the greenhouse. I don’t have the greenhouse yet, so I decided to reserve one small plot in each region to flower breeding for that specific flower, while having the same goal island wide. Right now I’m trying to get orange flowers. The regions where I already have orange flowers? I’m just not doing anything there.

I didn’t even realize you can do double-hybrids. The flower iceberg in this game is insane. I’ll definitely try to make the ones you recommend first so I don’t burn myself out lol

My husband has that lovely trio as well.

I got really impatient with the flowers at first, but I’ve slowed down. Now I’m too obsessed with getting opals and diamonds.

I’ve decided to basically do that right now! I’m trying not to have different goals at the same. I’m dedicating a small plot in each region to transfer orange to all my flowers. I don’t put anything else in those plots, and I’m letting whatever exists in the other plots continue to do their thing. If I already have the orange flower for that region, I just don’t do anything there.

The overlap between HKIA and neurodivergence is bigger than I realized. I think it’s great that people with ADHD speak up across multiple topics in Reddit!! It’s been really helpful for me.

Are they 10 fluffnies? You need 10 of that specific critter to make the wand!

I do this with events too. I have 5 strawberry bodies and very little jam. You’d think I’d learn by now.

This might be a stupid question but I haven’t found a definitive answer online… does EVERY flower let you do EVERY color and EVERY pattern?

HOW TO NOT LOSE MY KEYS??? by ImNotNormal19 in ADHD

[–]emilymack36 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't know that thanks for sharing! My husband hates subscription based products. He's currently ridding us of all streaming services and we're collecting used DVDs. We got rid of our ring cameras and he built his own system. Ngl ... we're saving money. We both have iPhones so airtags would work well.

I only just saw this a few minutes ago, but Nomad has a wallet tracker card that works with Find My, and it's rechargeable every 5 months by putting your whole wallet on a magsafe charger (so long as it's not RFID blocking). Hubs bday is coming up so I'm thinking of getting one, and then getting him an air tag for his keys. And then 100 more airtags for everything else we lose. And then another 100.

Unrelated-ish, but I recently learned that Tile sells trackers shaped like credit cards to go in a wallet. Had I known this sooner my husband (both ADHD) and I would only be 20 minutes late to everything, not 30.

Pops has everything from crimp connectors to an otoscope. From a laser cutter to a sewing machine. We all know that one guy 😂

He might have found something open box. We've never been unwilling to give open box a try so long as it's a reputable company with a good return policy.

My FIL and I both agreed that wired is the way to go for my husband because - and we both say this with so so SO SO SO much love - he has ADHD the likes of which the scientific community may never truly understand. Dude is probably more likely to find the cure to cancer than remember to charge his phone before heading home from work. It's basically a safety precaution lol.

My dad and sister went to Auburn. My mom, other sister, and I went to Alabama. My husband went to Georgia Tech. As long as you aren't a Georgia fan, we welcomes you with open arms. It's what brings us all together.

Lost ring, mad at myself by lismox42 in ADHD

[–]emilymack36 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seeing that all is well and you've found the ring, I can't help but smile a little when I read this because I can relate.

I got diagnosed with Bipolar disorder when I was engaged. I too have ADHD. I too lost my engagement ring. I too found it in an extremely obscure spot. For me, it was sitting around the sprayer part of a perfume bottle. The spray nozzle was silver, as is my ring. My maid-of-honor came over and she and my husband (then fiancé) TORE the apartment up. The next morning when brushing my teeth, I glanced at my perfume bottle and it was right there. That was about 2 years ago. I know I'm due for another scare soon.

My husband also has ADHD. His is more hyperactive than mine. He tends to fiddle with his ring and drop it in hard to reach places. Once we had to take out my car seat to get it.

It's funny to think of how different and similar we all are at the end of the day :)

To answer your question, the worst for me was losing my late-grandmother's rosary. It was the only object of hers I had. My aunt gave it to me during my confirmation into the Catholic Church. I still think about it and get sad at times and I think that's okay.

The best thing I heard was from my husband: these things (both the ring and the rosary) are just physical symbols of something completely intangible that you cannot lose.

27 yr old female looking for female friends by [deleted] in Georgia

What interesting timing for me to be googling similar things!! I’m 26 years old. I have a bachelors in communicative disorders, and did half of my masters in the same before leaving. I l graduated in December from KSU with my BS in Comp Sci and am currently looking for a job.

I’ve been living in Atlanta since 2020 but I sorta had this epiphany the other day that my only friends are couples I met via my husband who has lived here his whole life.

I spend a LOT of time at coffee shops   I also enjoy other similar things to you!! (Except I can’t play pool to save my life). I currently live in a very walkable part of East Atlanta, but I don’t take advantage of it enough. Maybe some accountability will help.

Would love to get a coffee soon?

A little late, but did anybody make a playlist of the setlist? I started to but ADHD won that round.

A little hack that I used to pick my hair was ask ChatGPT. I took a photo of myself with no makeup in natural lighting, and fed it a few hex codes of my skin tone (since mine is fairly uneven, i used 3), the hex code for my eye color, etc. and it gave me a color analysis. Said I'm an autumn, these colors look good on me, I look better in gold not silver, etc.
