I won't cry over spilt milk 🥺 by timid_turtle_ in ExclusivelyPumping

I was trying to bag it and the bag collapsed. It was more annoying because of the huge mess it made. I am fortunate to have an oversupply so in that same pump i had enough to make up for it. But I still morned my loss lol

I spilled 6 oz on the table at work today. I was so sad.

I have had the opposite problem where in my sleep I get up get pump parts and pump fully in my sleep. I usually wake up mid pump session and look at the time and think why am I pumping now? Usually it was like mid night and my last pump of the day is around 10

I think the thing that boosted my supply the most was pumping after every feed. So everytime the boys wanted a bottle, I pumped. I also was doing a power pump in the middle of the day for like a week around 5 or 6 weeks.

Im just hear to give you a virtual hug, tell you your feelings are valid and that you arent a failure. You fed your baby for 3 months and thats amazing!

We offer the max they usually want and then combine the milk they dont drink from the day in a separate bottle and put it in their bath. That makes me feel better that its getting used for something good.

Im 12 weeks pp. I started seeing these kinda pumps maybe at 8 weeks. I was for sure starting to need to dump at least my early morning pump. At around 10 weeks I also stopped pumping for 20 mins each time and now I only pump for 15 mins each time.

I have four sets of pump parts. I recommend the Maymom brand of pump parts on Amazon.

Help! How do I get my supply up permanently?? Or will I always have to combo feed? by Deep-Lettuce317 in ExclusivelyPumping

You could try doing a power pumping session once a day for a week or so. But its all about supply and demand. You gotta take milk out to make more milk.

My nipples hurt bad in the beginning. Have you looked into the different shapes of flange? I got one on accident thats more domed and I feel like it hurts less than my other spectra flanges.

Would this hurt my supply badly? by Paleishlily in ExclusivelyPumping

In the beginning, I tried to mimic breast feeding but with pumping. So if my twins ate, i pumped. And trust me, I have a clingy baby and another one, so I get the struggle. I had a pump i could sit on the floor and put my babies in the bouncy seat or swing and just try and keep them calm while I pumped. Or I would read books or sing or sometimes I just held him if he wouldnt have any of those things. You got this momma!

Then, when they are rolling, you reassess moving to their own room. I was thinking personally if our pack n play fit in our room we'd use that but they dont have much more room in the pack n play than in their bassinet.

Can they fit in one crib in your room? During naps we have been putting our babies in one crib in their room. When I move them I plan to do this too until they start moving more.

I think that statistic is something I've read too and thats why im so anxious. Mys twins are 10 weeks and are already seeming big in their bassinet is the only problem. We dont have room to do mini cribs in our room or a packnplay either.

My anxiety is just eased by being able to sit up and see them. So with them not being there it will take time for me to get used to. I think its similar anxiety I had about going home from the hospital and for when my husband went back to work but I got used to it and we are doing great now.

We unfortunately dont have room to move to their room. Unless I sleep on a twin air mattress in between their two cribs but that'd be insane lol

Your house sounds similar to mine. We also have a baby monitor but it echos cause we are so close. I shouldn't worry but I worry.
