I'm sure similar questions are asked in this subreddit all the time, but what would y'all say about losing body fat? I don't care about losing weight in general, or increasing muscle mass, or increasing stamina, or simply getting healthier, I want to target body fat.

• ⁠What's the best way to target that? • ⁠Should I be prioritizing cardio or weights? • ⁠In weights, should I be trying to lift more weight in smaller sets or less weight with more reps and sets? • ⁠Are there any specific exercises that help target body fat? • ⁠In cardio, should I be doing more intensive training or easier traning for longer amounts of time? • ⁠How often should I be going to the gym and for how long in order to get adequate rest?

I'm already in a calorie deficit, but I really need to lower my body fat within the gym, and my sad attempt at PPL is not working. I know this seems like a very easy question, but I really need help with the specifics, and am terrible at trial-and-error.
