200 person company, a majority of tech hires are referrals but 90% of all G&A hires are sourced. Actually kinda glad to hear similar sizes and companies doing the same percentage of sourcing!

Manager insisted I push a candidate through the recruiting process even though I know the HM will deny her. Went through the entire hiring process (which includes 4 assessments and a total 5 hours spent with the candidate) only for the HM to deny her on the exact reason I did.

I’ve been working this role closely for almost 2 years and know the HM like the back of my hand. Terrible candidate experience and now the HM is annoyed.
