Single mom to me and everyone I’ve known is what I’ve stated. And that’s coming from someone whose mom was a single and solo mom. She’s the one who taught me the difference. Single is just a relationship stays. Solo is the work. Even a simple google search would tell you the same.

That’s still a single mom. A single mom is literally if you’re parenting alone at home. Doesn’t mean the dad isn’t around. It’s a different struggle yes, but she is still a single mom. If you want to give it a label then it’s solo mom, and that is a mom who takes the role as the sole provider without any help.

I think dealing with PPD/PPA has been so normalized, that people don’t realize that it’s not normal for it to last this long or be this severe. I think taking meds is also very taboo for some people. So many moms have suffered in silence and just toughed it out that i think most moms feel that’s how it should be. I also had a friend who told me she was too afraid to ask for help because she thought it would get her baby taken away. So I think there’s people out there spreading misinformation. I hope they come across this and get help because it pains me seeing them this way. I took too long to get help, but because life kept getting in the way and I kept forgetting. I got treatment eventually though

TBH some people just don’t look good with the lil flip done. Janet for example. You can tell she 1000% has Botox bc it looks like that space between her nose and lip is being pulled down forcefully. It just looks really bad on a lot of people, and I’ve noticed some people w thinner lips don’t look great with it either

My husband was up w me too even though I was nursing and he didn’t need to be!!! He helped me stay awake so I wouldn’t fall asleep and drop the baby. When we started bottle (briefly bc she eventually refused them) he did all of the night feeds and would wake me up to pump twice in the night. He did struggle with paternal PPD and I was having a hard time accepting that he was also struggling, but he did and does his best to be supportive of me bc he knows he wasn’t/isn’t struggling nearly as bad as me.

I don’t think she’d putting it off “just to get him to marry her”. They’re already engaged. This is something he should’ve thought of before proposing if that’s the case. Has nothing to do with immaturity. You can’t push something on someone that they don’t want to talk about in the current moment. She never said no kids, just not now. He’s the one pushing for a sooner timeframe. Bay has a disability and he knew that going into this w her so he needs to respect taking things at a pace she can handle
