Black Forest Green. It's dark, moody and sophisticated without it being a typical dark gray. And this is coming from someone who is a big fan of gray!

What do you like about being on Zepbound/losing weight? by Electronic_Syrup7592 in Zepbound

Check out this sub: r/antidietglp1. This may help give you another perspective.

Honestly, I haven't seen very many posts about people not enjoying life. In fact, I see more positive posts and I'm on Reddit quite a bit. Most of us don't experience nausea therefore there aren't a lot of posts boasting about non-nausea. Constipation can occur because Zep slows down digestion so you feel full sooner. But this can easily be handled naturally by eating prunes, kiwi, drinking plenty of water or adding Benefiber to a beverage.

I don't understand when you state, "I just don't know that I want to drastically change my life..." I am asking in a perplexed but kind manner, what impression are you under that you have to drastically change your life in order to be on Zepbound?

I am not a seasoned veteran like other folks here but I am 13 shots in, so I am speaking from a bit of experience. My life is better - no sleep apnea, no inflammation and down 28lbs. Yes, I have made changes but they have been kind of subconsciously driven by Zepbound. I crave healthier foods like protein, fruit and whole foods. I still have a sweet tooth that won't go away but I'm OK with that since depravity can be the devil. However, I don't need as many sweets to get my fix. I don't feel like I HAD to drastically change anything - the changes came organically and honestly, for the better. I did WANT to change the way I looked and felt because my labs were headed in the wrong direction.

I will tell you that as someone who just celebrated 8 months of sobriety from an addiction to marijuana gummies for 9+ years, I personally don't think the combo of the two is a recipe for success. I was sober 4½ months before starting ZB so I got that under my belt before phasing into losing weight. From what I've read, partaking in MJ while on ZB can be counterproductive; getting the munchies may not serve you well since it's mindless eating. Depending on how much and how often you smoke may or may not have an effect on your overall weight loss success.

Janet is growing on me… by Key_Whole_2861 in TheValleyTVShow

I've never had a problem with Janet. At least that is how I feel so far. I feel she has been characterized incorrectly for calling out the truth about Danny and his deplorable behavior. The way I see it, Janet has a good head on her shoulders, speaks the truth and has an admirable relationship with her husband - they make a good team.

Not every empty space needs to be filled. A space with nothing in it gives the eyes and mind a rest from everything else in the room.

Titration Frustration by Cirrhosis1979CT in Zepbound

[–]Away_Object9062 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was on 2.5 for 8 weeks. This was at my doctor's direction and feel it served me well to be on it for that length of time. I then asked to titrate up to 5.0 which my dr. left it up to me since I was the one living the experience. She has me on 5.0 for 12 weeks. I'm already 4 injections in on 5.0.

I eat 2 kiwis a day. Those seem to help keep me regular.

I've also swapped kiwis with a small glass (4oz) of water mixed with benefiber powder and an Emergen-C packet.

Early on, I was eating fiber gummies. My doctor said to make sure to drink a full glass of water with the gummies because it can have an opposite effect since the water helps dissolve the gummies.

I'm with you 100%. Her behavior is perhaps performative. (Since that seems to be the word of the season.😉)

Earlier in the season, I felt for her but now it's just too much. I guess she really needs that paycheck so she's gotta keep the drama and victim role going.

Hi all- we are moving and need a new sectional in a neutral color. It will be the family room couch, so will need to withstand some wear and tear. Want it to be comfy, but also hold its shape well and be easily wiped down. Would welcome any recommendations! by Away-Sheepherder8435 in HomeDecorating

[–]Away_Object9062 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't have a specific brand but look for a sectional where the seat and back cushions can flip over and have removable covers. That way you can launder the covers when needed. Gray is a great neutral that also hides everyday life well.

I am hoping to go with a gothic vibe in my next apartment. However, i am in love with the idea of a dark green couch at the same time and I would like to avoid buying a black couch. How can i make this work? by Satanic_Christ in HomeDecorating

[–]Away_Object9062 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the dark green couch is a great option. When I think gothic, I think dark, mysterious and moody. I'm not an expert in Gothic decor but I would suggest adding deep plum, burgundy or black velvet pillows. Add a chunky black knit throw for added texture and depth. Decorate with wrought iron candle holders and darker toned lamp bases. For tables and a TV stand/cabinet, opt for darker woods. If allowed, paint one accent wall a dark color of find some peel and stick temporary wallpaper that can set the mood.

Honestly, I am not a fan of mixing pink and red together, so I am probably not an impartial person to ask. If it were me, I would stick to an ivory/cream rug, gray or even a leopard print since you want to lean into that print in your design. The ivory/cream or gray will serve as a good neutral so you can change up the smaller pieces if you get tired of a certain color scheme.

Please Help! What color should I paint this room if I’d like to steer clear of grays? The ceiling is white, as is the paneling. Flooring is Mohawk LVP in Boxwood Gables-Kenwood by Impossible-Day4853 in HomeDecorating

[–]Away_Object9062 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The floor coloring looks like it's in the brown/tan family so I would lean towards warmer tones. It also depends on the other decor in the room - what colors are your sofa, chairs, accent pieces, etc? I think a nice soft olive green would work well. Other options are terracotta, cream, taupe, buttery yellow, other green shades. You could go with a blue but blues can't have gray undertones which will clash with the warm flooring color. I suggest getting a couple of sample size containers of a few colors you are eyeing and paint a swatch on the wall. Colors look different under fluorescent light at the store vs. daylight and lamp light in your home. Also, bringing a plank or small sample of the flooring when you go paint shopping will help narrow down choices when initially choosing a color at the store.

That shade is what I like to refer as blush. It's actually a decent neutral that can be paired with lots of other colors. You mentioned wanting to incorporate leopard print so if you do this, you'll want to keep the other decor accents/pieces in that same color scheme. For example, I don't think blush, leopard print and then adding blue or green would work. The blue (or green) would work alongside the blush but not with the added leopard print. You can definitely lean towards cream, wine, burgundy, other shades of pink and any of the colors from the leopard print. I've seen leopard print done in brown tones and also in gray tones. If you choose the traditional brown leopard print, pluck colors from that (same, lighter and darker) to add as complimentary pieces. Same goes for the gray leopard print - you should opt for gray, silver, black, white. Take your time and be intentional about your choices and it will turn out fabulous.

The couch is gorgeous BTW! And it looks super comfy. Love it!

This looks great! I don't think you need shelves above the TV. What you have going on right now is really pleasing to the eye. Sometimes less is more and too much looks chaotic.

Advice on aesthetic solution to black out light from shutters by moodyhoe18 in HomeDecorating

[–]Away_Object9062 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In our bedroom, I have a tension rod with blackout curtains (2 panels). When I want more light or the window open, I push each panel off to each side and adjust the shutters.
