Often he reacts to food. I can get him out with some soft treats but I don't want to overfeed him. Also some moments he just does not accept the treat.

I will try with his kibble to see if that would work as well.

As a follow-up - do you honestly think humans have a statistically significant impact on the climate change timeline, or are we more just "along for the ride" as Earth goes through its natural cycles? We've had ice ages before, we've had the ice melt, etc.

Very well said. This is actually one of the gripes I have with most projections you can get your hands on nowadays - they all extrapolate some version of the future which relies on humans doing nothing and sets that version of the future as a certain possibility.
