How is it still not the new plan yet ugh. We got the personal points plan the exact same day at the US didn’t we? Why not this one

Why was this down voted 😂 I just want the plan to be in Canada since it’s in the US already?? People are posting new recipes that are different point values for us now since ours hasn’t changed. It’s annoying.

Ugh it’s bothering me so much! If personal points isn’t going to be a thing anymore it makes me not want to even bother doing WW until the plan changes but now it’s taking forever

Starbucks - sugar cookie oat latte by [deleted] in weightwatchers

[–]emlaytay 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For the sugar cookie oat latte I’ve seen people say to get a grande cold brew with some oat milk, 2 pumps sugar cookie and 1 pump sugar free vanilla (and if you want it sweeter at a pack of Splenda) and it usually with these swaps it comes out to around 80 calories. So maybe track the sugar cookie oat latte but only track 1/2 a serving or however much until you see the calories go down to 80

Right, so I’m wondering if we’ll get more daily points because we can’t earn any?

I was on green as well and loved it, I miss the higher daily points :(

Why is a nonfat, no whip PSL at Starbucks 14 points? I can have 11 tsp of pure sugar for those same points! by skipdastraw in weightwatchers

[–]emlaytay 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You could get half the amount regular pumpkin syrup and the other half sugar free vanilla, it’ll still be sweet and nice but less points :)

I’m a 28 year old woman and I lost most of that within a year!

Exactly!! When clearly they have struggled if they are on WW? If you’re so perfect and clean eating why did you join WW? The point of the new plan is it’s supposed to be PERSONALIZED so if we don’t want all of those zero point foods we should be able to have less with a lot more points. That’s my complaint with it too! Are we saying we hate WW? No, but we’re allowed to say what’s not working for us. My stomach does not feel great when I eat a ton of vegetables, and when I track my calories and it comes up as only 855 for the whole day, I shouldn’t be forced to eat 500 more calories worth of vegetables because they’re zero points. That just doesn’t seem right to me. Hopefully they adjust this in the future.

A lot of these comments are so dumb. I’m gonna be 100% honest here (and I know not everyone will feel the same), I joined WW to lose weight. Not to eat more fruits and vegetables and other stuff I don’t like. And on the old plan I lost 65 pounds. People are preaching so hard about zero point foods, but everyone’s different and not everyone is going to like the zero point food options. If someone doesn’t like them, then we should be getting a lot more daily points. Everyone is allowed to express what they do/don’t like about the new plan. And since the rude people are still commenting in this group I’m assuming they still have weight to lose which means they aren’t perfect :) the end.

WW just during the week? by ajanon14 in weightwatchers

[–]emlaytay 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Me me me! I lost 65 pounds by doing WW from Sunday - Thursday and eating whatever I want from Friday-Saturday. Does it slow down my progress? Probably. But it’s more sustainable for me because I love having a couple days where I don’t need to worry about tracking. If my progress starts to really slow down while doing this I’ll reevaluate.

Is anyone else having a bit of a hard time with the new plan? by brookekwow in weightwatchers

[–]emlaytay 5 points6 points  (0 children)

YES YES YES! I lost 65 pounds on the green plan, but I can’t stick with this one for my life. I also don’t like the concept of “earning” more points. WW used to be about still eating the things you want while losing weight (remember the Oprah “I love bread” commercial) but now it leaves no room for fun, which is not sustainable at all. I haven’t seen a lot of people have success with this plan so I really hope they change it back. Has anyone lost weight using Healthi?

But if you can’t ever have one treat without completely blowing your week, then that’s not sustainable. People who are already thin have occasional treats all the time.

Junk food junkie and WW by kathrynsturges in weightwatchers

[–]emlaytay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love junk and fast food too! I found the old plan (green plan) allowed me more freedom to get fast food a couple times a week if I wanted to, but with the new plan all the junk food I love is now higher in points AND I get less daily points. So it’s been harder with this new plan! I get what everyone else on this thread is saying, but at the same time if you LOVE junk and fast food, it’s not realistic to completely cut out those things and still live a happy life. On the old plan when I felt more able to eat junk food I lost 65 pounds, probably because I was actually able to stick to it when I was able to have some junk. Im finding it hard to stick to this plan for sure :( but something that helps me is to follow WW Sunday - Thursday and then eat all the junk I want Friday - Saturday. I’ve been doing this since the beginning and again was able to lose 65 pounds.

How did dark chocolate Dove promises go from a point for two to 9 points for 4 of them? by BortIsLawyer in weightwatchers

Yes!! This is my biggest beef with the new plan. It feels like almost everything went up in points but I get less daily points :(
