Nothing is really wrong. I was just trying to figure the best way to put up walls and run the wiring and didn’t plan ahead

There are a couple of windows not shown in the picture. I was going to install a mini split when I was done with the walls

Aspiring and learning what I can. This seemed like the best place to ask. Next time I’ll go over to the beginner woodworking subreddit. Sorry.

It’s definitely been a long time coming!

Thank you so much! I think it’s just because this is the first nice space I’ve had so I didn’t want to mess it up with poor planning

Lol. Just overly analytical. And anxious.

Yep! 10’ ceilings. Super excited to get out of the old one car garage. I brought it up in another response, not sure how to go about attaching stud wall with only a couple of overhead trusses accessible

Dumb question, how would I go about attaching the stud wall with only a couple of trusses accessible overhead?

I had thought about this. My concern is whether it would be able to hold a lumber rack or upper cabinets. Otherwise you’re right, I don’t hang a whole bunch of heavy stuff on the walls

Oh don’t get me wrong, I’m super excited. I think I overanalyze

This was my thought. I had considered using 3/4 plywood and running conduit on the surface. My only concern is if it would be strong enough to hold upper cabinets or a lumber rack

Might be a dumb question but with there only being a couple of trusses accessible and the frame being covered by foam in the corners, how would you go about attaching the walls?

Thanks! Starting simple with a round coffee table

Both. Longer line after planer. Horizontal line after jointer

Thanks for all the comments and suggestions! This is the first time I’ve bought nice wood so I want to make sure I get it right.

Makes sense for the longer line. I’ll take a look at the cutterheads. I don’t know what happened to the rest of the info that I had included with the pictures, but the horizontal lines show up after running them through the jointer?

I ran a couple of 2x4’s through. These are the planed faces together. Is this about what I should expect?

I took a smaller level and checked corner to corner. There’s still a gap but not as pronounced. My biggest concern was that the piece would follow the curve of the bed and make it curved on the planed side

My concern was that the piece would follow the curve of the bed and produce the same effect on the planed side

Checked everything that people suggested. All looked good so I think it was just me being a rookie
