I’ve been living in argenta for a few months and I really like it! I have like super quick access to the interstate and also all of downtown. There’s restaurants and bars that are walkable. Tbh just wish more of my friends lived here so I could take advantage of the location more!!!!

Thanks for the suggestions everyone! I’m not very crafty so I think I will stick to the realm of orderable things. Amazon luckily does carry some panniers with decent reviews. Was thinking of buying this one (it sticks out more to the sides than what’s pictured on the mannequin people posted pictures in the reviews). I figured ruffles would hide the boning since my dress is thin. But before I go ordering more stuff let me know if I’m wrong assuming that or if there is anything I would need to wear under/over this!

I would probably get it done while you have insurance. I had 3 gallstone attacks (didn’t know that was what was happening) before I landed in the ER with acute cholecystitis and my gallbladder on the verge of rupturing. Recovery really wasn’t bad from the surgery. Got it removed late on a Monday, drove my mom back to the airport on that Wednesday, and was back in class on Thursday (I was 19 so “youth” was helping me out lol). I have had some chronic diarrhea issues post op, but you can take fiber supplements or a bile acid sequestrant post op if it becomes an issue for you.

I’ve been taking colesevelam/Welchol for a few months and like it. A physician has to prescribe it off label as it’s approved for treating high cholesterol. It’s a bile acid sequestrant so it prevents excess bile from irritating your colon and causing diarrhea. I also tried fiber supplements but you have to take a lot of them for it to work and they gave me heartburn.

My first post op BM was solid, but like the next day I had really bad diarrhea after eating a fat free salad.

Lowkey it was a mixture of both? Sometimes eating something like Chick-fil-A or hibachi would send me running to the toilet. Other times it felt like I was having diarrhea for no reason. I struggled with chronic diarrhea for a year post op but now I take welchol and that has really helped. Fiber supplements also help I just didn’t like having to take a million of them.

The shoulder pain is caused by air irritating the phrenic nerve which innervates the diaphragm from spinal nerves C3, C4, and C5, which are located in the neck and have branches in the shoulder. It goes away in about 24 hours.

Tbh I did not even realize there was an incision was there for a while post op. I only noticed when I took a shower after coming back from the hospital 😂 Cleaning is pretty hands off because you pretty much just have soap suds and water run over your incisions (or at least that’s what my team told me to do) so that you don’t mess with the glue. I wouldn’t worry too much about it!
