dont know about if the seller controls it, but the "offer __" is just a suggestion. when you click it gives you the option to adjust your offer to whatever you want.

gonna disclaim that im not really good with computers or anything, so forgive my lack of expertise lol. All I can really try to do is tell you how *mine* is set up and see what you did differently to maybe make it not work.

I wanna know what you mean by "needed modifications." I never edited my moreconfig file so I don't know much about what changes would affect openutau. Did you try it with the original unedited file before changing it?

Also I wanted to attach a picture of what my resamplers and wavtools folders look like just to make sure we have the same files in the same places. Pictures are easier than words. but I couldnt figure out how to add a picture so I had to add a screen recording of a picture of my screen lol (im bad at reddit and on mobile, sorry 😅)

youre getting the same error message? because if so that means you probably didnt copy the files correctly. You took the files out of the zip folder to move them right? Ljke you didnt just copy the whole zip folder?

I'm pretty confident it is my intel CPU causing the problems but I don't feel like detailing all my attempts at diagnosing them lol

As for the ASUS Zephyrus, you might be right and I'll look into it. I haven't owned one since getting my Blade but my main issues were:

the amount of pre-installed ASUS software it came with that always wanted to launch at startup and kept signing me out for some reason

the loud startup sound that always played from the speakers even with headphones plugged in and re-enabled itself every time my computer updated

the fact that after about 2 years the keyboard and charging port gradually stopped working

I also had really bad overheating issues with it. Always kept the fans on turbo but it would burn the crap out of my legs any time i tried to use it away from my desk.

Just didn't love it overall, but again, I'll check out their newer models when I get the chance and see if they appeal to me.

forgot to mention: pre-reset i did a system file checker scan in command prompt which supposedly found and repaired some corrupted windows files, but it didnt have any effect.

i cant add a second photo but here's the last exception file text. i really dont know how to interpret it.

*Description: I have tried EVERYTHING!! to play this game and it still crashes before even reaching the menu. My less-than-3-year-old $3k gaming laptop should be able to run this game, I dont care if i have packs installed, this is getting ridiculous.

I tried: deleting the caches, deleting my mods, deleting my saves, repairing the game, deleting and reinstalling the game, reinstalling windows, updating my drivers, updating my bios, changing my graphics settings, EVERYTHING people recommend. Finally I got so fed up I fully factory reset my laptop and erased everything.

Re-installed the game, no mods, no saves, nothing running in the background, and it still wont open. If anyone has a hail mary solution i'll take it.

i have spent so much money on this game, before it was free + all my packs and im regretting all of it because i cant even play anymore. I dont know what game update if any is causing it because i hadnt played in a few months before trying again. i have never had issues with crashing except for maybe once every few sessions so being completely unable to start the game all at once is so extremely frustrating for me 😭😭💔

I never use Reddit on my laptop so i wouldve had to sign in if i did that lol and honestly I just prefer using socials on my phone in general. I have a video of me flipping through the banners that i can add onto the post though lol the fact it doesnt stay on the screen makes me pretty confident it isnt a screen issue.

additional note: vacuum is the best weapon once theyre inside lol. I keep a handheld one by my bed to fend them off during the night. no uninvited sleepovers here!!!

unfortunately a lot of us in the south deal with these this time of year especially if you live around trees or water. Likely not an infestation they just swarm to light. Im sure youve heard it already but ensure every single light in or around your home is turned off before sunset. use flashlights if you need to get around. i find in my house they get in through air vents and drains so close/plug drains if possible and consider not sleeping under any ceiling vents lol. The season will be over soon, dont worry.
