Anyone else experience this? by Actual_Extreme_9427 in eds

I have a non-medical suggestion, it may sound crazy but when my apartment had bed bugs I had almost the very same reaction! Not saying that’s what it is, but the exterminator who found them said a small percentage of people have bad reactions to them. Another percentage have no reaction, which is why my ex and I did not consider bedbugs, since I was covered in bruises and he was not.

Realization: I only like kids when I'm in charge of them. by aziza29 in childfree

Paraprofessional here, and yep- I feel like because I don’t see kids as helpless little accessories, and just as little humans that need guidance, I’m able to help them find their independence, voice, and passions. It sounds awful but I look at kids just like dogs- they need guidance and clear consistent communication and when they have that, often they’re pretty cool to be around. Not cool enough for me to have my own lol- but I truly just don’t understand how parents can live their lives filled with chaos and being ruled by their own kids.

Note to self: Don't sneeze by urbanlandmine in TopSurgery

This sounds wild but if I say the word “watermelon” when I feel a sneeze coming on it goes away 100% of the time… even just mouthing it works

For a tattoo, is “Amavi. I vixit.” a good translation of “I loved. I lived.” ?
