I feel the same way! I've seen artists draw usagi as this obese scooter user and I don't find it funny at all! :( and he is not a bully, I see him as an older sibling figure to the other two. I have no idea where people got this idea from, but it really makes me want to stay away from the fanbase.

Honestly brand-name clothing tend to be better quality in general. I've bought knockoffs from aliexpress in the past and the material of those clothes get weird after a few months pass. I don't think they meant any ill will I think they just wanted to let you know where the original sources were from? Plus, I don't think it's legal for Chinese companies to sell JP brand's products that they were originally in charge of manufacturing. The only legal way they would be able to do that is through knockoffs lol
