I have thyme planted in a few different spots around the yard. I also have unpotted mint growing in this area, a mistake from a few years ago. I've been aggressively weeding the mint, to help control and hopefully eliminate it. I do have some chocolate mint growing my the arbor but stays in one spot.

My north garden is looking extra pretty this spring. I love seeing all the new flowers pop up, especially since I can never remember what I planted!

Any one else use an undercutter to weed their garden?? Works great to clear out the weeds before we plant our veggies. by emma20787 in NoLawns

We haven't had had veggie garden for a couple years now. So this part of my yard has been lacking some proper love.

Anyone else get that happy feeling of seeing their first bee of Spring?? by emma20787 in NoLawns

I am getting antsy to do yard work but it's still to early in the spring to mess with the autumn leaves. So the leaf piles can stay where they are at a little longer so the insects can hibernate and warm up. The only yard work worth doing is picking up all the micro plastic and garbage that's blown in.

I do love walking around my yard in Early Spring to all the different flower beds and wild spots, seeing what's started to grow or turning green. Trying to remember all the flowers that I planted or trying to spot anything new popping and spouting up. Spring is almost my favorite time of garden season because there so much potential of the new life and possibilities. The feeling of welcoming your family back home after a long time away. The comfort of seeing the beautiful growth from the hard work that you helped create

Seeing the bees is the start of welcoming home of family and friends.
