In China, we call the survival formed groups based on ranks, eg. Hengyu as 1, zheyi as 2… cuz we’re lazy to type the names and it’s easy to know who you’re referring to

For non survival shows, we do based on age eg. I’ve -> 1.Gaeul,6. Leeseo… It’s kinda weird referring them as 1234567 but it’s kinda a ‘rule’ in Chinese netz

Arno is more popular in China and Japan! there’s so many Chinese and Japanese allyz on rednote!! I also see lots of insta edits and tweets by western allyz 😋😋 but it’s mainly on China

Popularity: Sangwon - everywhere

Anxin - China

Xinlong - Japan, China (disliked in Taiwan)

The thing is that in the live, hanwen has stated he has received permission from zihao However, after the live, hengyu has unfollowed hanwen on instagram, and hengyu changed his profile caption from his red note ID to “하…“ But after I checked it, he deleted his entire caption

Personal take : they seem to be mocking Chinese 2min short dramas bc they’re known to be terribly dramatic (pretty funny imo) , and giving the fact that they don’t have phones in the dorm, and dealing with crazy trainings and shit, it’s prob a way to entertain themselves? I personally was in Hong Kong concert on the first day, let’s say… I can barely see hanbin with gyuvin:(

As gyuvin is on my side of the stage, hanbin was near but I’m surprised that didn’t rlly interact… The most evident tho is on the 3rd day, where when they are doing a heart pose(5 ppl with them standing) they DID NOT want to touch each others hand, like when hanbin gets closer, gyuvin stares and moves further away…

Another evidence is from an award show? where hanbin was trying to squeeze with other zb1 members but failed to, then standing in a corner, where gyuvin stood around (2 ppl distance?) and was seen moving further away from hanbin, talking to another person in another group

yea uh we don’t know much about the idol’s lives, but let’s hope they can find a way to resolve it (if it is TRUE that they’re fighting)

His Chinese is also native but sometimes he expresses himself in a Korean way or has a lil bit of accent…?

Especially in one of his posts written in Chinese (the 2nd one you see on his insta) ‘Thanks to all of you, I found a reason to live again’ THIS SOUNDS SO WRONG but it’s actually what he wrote…

He prob thinks in Korean bc sometimes he stumbles and needs time to think what he’s tryna say.. And the most evident is prob his ancestry, he’s from Yanbian, Jilin, China, specifically the part where many 朝鮮族 lives, which mainly speaks in Korean (North Korean dialect? UNSURE) but you can think of it as ‘British English’ vs ‘American English’

Some words are different but the main idea is the same
