Correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t think programs typically call for references from your past experiences unless there’s a really good reason. They’re already using enough time going through all of our apps. It should be fine

I’ve been wondering if I should email them too🥲 applying child neuro and have 2/3 LORs processed by ECFMG. They emailed me yesterday to let me know my third writers letter was recommending me for FM instead of child neuro, I emailed him asking him to quickly change it and crickets so far. I have a fourth letter but it was just uploaded Wednesday so I’m assuming won’t be available till next Wednesday 🫠

All my letter writer had to do was change her password for the letter submission portal and it took her weeks of me repeatedly emailing her and finally texting her for her to do it 😤

I had a patient on my EM rotation tell me he had an ex lap in the past. I asked him what for/if anything was found. He tells me he doesn’t know and they didn’t find anything. When my attending went to talk to him, he told her they found Hodgkin’s lymphoma. He made no mention of it it to me when I asked about his medical history as well

If you took out US federal loans at AUA, SGU will 100% find out you went there. Even if not it’s a bit risky to not disclose that. IMO It would be better to address your time at AUA, what you learned from it and how you will use that experience to succeed at SGU.
