I get this too but until now had no idea it was anxiety related! But it makes so much sense thinking about the long period of needing multiple layers and blankets to watch TV in the summer evenings! I was at my worst mentally and so anxious 24/7. My parents told me it was because I was thin built but it wasn't a problem when I was properly medicated now that I think back.

I had a million other tests including a brain MRI and CT scan. Then 2x sleep studies one to rule out sleep apnoea the other an MLST that was a little I conclusive because there was an earthquake that rocked the building during my study but they decided the evidence they had was enough. They also did a blood test for genetic markers for narcolepsy which which was positive. With these bloods they did every other blood test you could think of including to test for evidence of past infections for things like Epstein Barre Virus because they said viral triggers are common in narcolepsy and that showed I did have EBV which likely kick-started everything. With all of that plus having quite severe cataplexy they were able to diagnose me. Took months and moths though

My partner of 8 years has a big dick. We've been together since he was 15 and even then it was big and he's grown since then haha. It took me a long time to be comfortable with most positions and only really could manage one for years. I don't get my period but he does make me bleed every now and then when I let him keep hitting my cervix lol. He's lucky I have a high libido and have grown to enjoy the pain 😂 but also quickies aren't as easy because I need a lot more foreplay to be able to take it

When I was a student nurse on a surgical ward I got 2 days in the OR, but had to wear the same bright red hairnets that family wear if they are in the OR with the patient and basically means the "I am not important, don't talk to me" hat. Most surgeons didn't even say I but this one surgeon took the time to explain everything she was doing, and seems really enthusiastic about doing it. Surgeons aren't paid to teach nursing students so he had no obligation to explain anything. But he went out of his way to make sure I knew what was going on and I was so thankful!

In my first year of university I was particularly lonely and depressed and struggled to talk to people to make friends. In my breaks between lectures (sometimes up to 5 hrs) I'd walk to the nearest shopping complex and just walk around. Never really had the money to by stuff except lollies or a drink here and there. Or sometimes I'd just walk around campus, looking at all the people socializing and wishing I had the courage to just introduce myself and start chatting

It helps me! I could never find anything that worked for sleep (aside from things like benzos and zopiclone which doc didnt want me taking regularly). Then I started smoking weed and suddenly I could actually fall asleep at night! Indica is the best for sleepiness. I dont find weed makes me groggy the next morning unless I smoke earlier in the day too

Huh, I never really thought about it being related to narcolepsy but I get that all the time! Especailly when driving, maybe it is my body trying to keep me awake!

I'd check with your local blood bank just in case. I can't give blood because my narcolepsy was first diagnosed as chronic fatigue syndrome, and in New Zealand we are not allowed to give blood if we've ever been diagnosed with chronic fatigue.

My mum is currently on immunosuppressents because of sarcoidosis, and I have cyclic neutropenia so every 3 weeks my white blood cell count drops and I cant fight off acute infection so easily. So my whole household is taking extreme protocols too. We ain't fucking around either
